We have loved Idaho Pizza Company and have for a long time. Never had any issues with food or service with the Nampa location that we had previously used. Recently, we moved to the Meridian area, so the Fairview/Meridian location a new store for us. The first two times we used the Fairview location, the service was fine, but for what we were paying (they are one of the more expensive pizza places, but that's fine if I get great quality, which I have in the past), the pizza toppings were pretty skimpy compared to what we were used to. We stopped using them for a few months. This week, my wife and I were craving a good Idaho Pizza Company pizza, so we took another chance on this location. The person taking our call had a difficult time getting our order correct over the phone, then after five attempts at getting the credit card number correct, we finally got it to work (by this time, I would have just said forget it and hung up, but my wife was more patient, still VERY frustrating). I'm not sure if he was distracted, or what the issue was, but it was a more difficult process than it should have been. Got the pizza quicker than expected and the pizza itself was great this time. The issue was, we ordered pizza twists with ranch, which my wife repeated this several times (they have the best Ranch), and received marinara, which is the one thing that isn't that good at Idaho Pizza Company. I'm sure it sounds nitpicking, but when you spend $40 on a meal, you expect to get what you paid for. This is three times we've ordered from the Fairview Meridian location and three times we've been disappointed. We called after the delivery and left a message, and have yet to hear anything back. I love Idaho Pizza Company, but I think we'll skip this location for...
Read moreWe have been here twice in the last couple of weeks. On the first visit we ordered 2 to go salads and 6 breadsticks. We made our salads and waited and waited for our breadsticks. The boy at the front desk saw us waiting 30 minutes later and went looking for our breadsticks. I saw him talking to another guy in the back who started making our breadsticks. It was obvious they forgot but did not say anything to us about it. He let us know that they were in the oven but I could see him pulling the dough out so I knew they were not cooking yet. Another 30 minutes went by and another employee that was stocking the salad bar asked us if we were still waiting for our order. We let her know that we had been waiting for an hour now for 6 breadsticks. She went and got them for us. Second visit we ordered 1 to go salad and 2 large pizzas. They let us know that it would be about a 30 minute wait. We stood by the front desk for an hour. We finally went up to ask if our pizza was done and the young kid at the front looked inside the warmer on the back counter and pulled out our pizza and gave it to us. Nobody ever called out our name we gave them when we ordered or let us know it was ready to go. They let us sit there and wait. Who knows how long we waited while it was sitting on the back counter. The thing that really made me mad about each visit is that nobody ever apologized about us having to wait longer then the estimated time. Even when we let them know we were frustrated about waiting. We have been long time customers but due to these last two visits we will be going somewhere else...
Read moreI hate to give them less than 5 stars, but after last night I have to. The chair I was sitting in was broken. When I used my hands to scoot up, the seat lifted up and my finger got smashed between the seat and the leg. A huge chunk of my finger was ripped off. I wrapped it in napkins and went to ask for band aids. The guy said "I think we might have some". When I told him I smashed my finger and ripped the skin off on the chair, he gave me 2 band aids and went right back to work. Never asked if I was okay. Never asked how badly I was hurt. Nothing. Turns out, my finger print is permanently altered. Now, that said.............guess what? One of the other people I was there with had the same thing happen to her. chair seat not secure, pinched and bleeding finger. She had a band aid in her purse, so didn't say anything. I'm not a complainer, so I went on and enjoyed our Christmas party as much as I could. But will be working with gauze and tape over my right pointer finger for who knows how long. (I"m right handed). Fix your chairs!!!!! And................if a customer asks for a band aid.........................ask what the hell happened and be a little bit concerned. I have contacted you twice and received your auto reply, yet it's been well over 24 hours and I have had zero contact from you. This is the photo I sent you...
