White Water Saloon — Restaurant in Meridian

WHITE WATER SALOON IS A RACIST BAR! I walked into the the White Water Saloon one day after work to grab a beer as I was waiting for a friend of mine to get off work. As soon as I walked into the bar I got stares as if I was an alien. I am Asian and like most I look quite young for my age. Anyways I sat down at the bar and was immediately asked for my I.D. so I showed the lady bartender and she looked at it a few times. No big deal as I am used to that. Then she says "there is no way that you are 39". I said "I'm not 39 and if you would look at my I.D. it clearly says that I'm 34". Then she shows it to a toothless gal (must have been a local) and she says "oh no that's not him". So the bartender then says that I have to go somewhere else and we're not serving you here. My I.D. is only a year old mind you so I couldn't have changed that much. Sorry about the long rant but I have never experienced anything like that. I went to White Water Salon this past weekend. Been hearing some commercials and figured lets check it out. I had some out of state buddies in town. Immediately when we walked in the bartender, rudely, said they already called last call. It was 1:25 am. I politely asked why last call so early and she ignored me.. I walked over to the other bartender and he said they can't serve people that come "stumbling" thru the door. Little did these guys know me and my out of town buddies just got back from a camping trip, and we were SOBER! If your not a regular I would not recommend this place. If the owner is reading this I would see who was bartending Sat 6/24/17 (guy and girl) b/c you lost a ton of cash - we would of spent easily $200, more importantly I would of came back regularly b/c this was my first time coming and I live 5 minutes away. I watched a woman being assaulted in this establishment, I was kicked out because I told the guy to not put his hands on a woman, while the bartender kicked me out I was assaulted by the bartender Alex's boyfriend, after I left I realized I forgot my glasses, I came back and they were behind the counter and someone took the lense out, this place allows you to assault women so I would not recommend going to this bar if you're a female, the staff is unprofessional as well as the owner, I spoke to her and addressed my concerns, even called the police, they refuse to talk to me, or show video of who vandalised my property, this has resulted in my loss of wages as I can not drive without my glasses, I hope this review helps anyone with the same experience as myself or worse if they treat their patrons in such a way that they allow assault of someone...
