I have now purchased 4 instruments from this shop, and I have NEVER been disappointed in the service, the care, or the quality of the instruments I have gotten from here. I live in Tennessee and I don’t even bother calling anywhere else unless it’s something they don’t carry, which is rare. They always make sure to throw little extras in the case, too, whether it’s a tuner, rosin, or a bow (which is very serviceable until you decide to upgrade to your next Krutz!). You will never be sorry if you purchase an instrument here. Ethan even hand-picked my cello out, based strictly on what I told him I wanted…. Dark wood, not shiny, deep, warm sound, and a body that is not too wide. He nailed it. EXACTLY. Over the phone, he found me a cello that I will never have to upgrade from (my teacher’s words).

If only he had left me one! For whatever it's worth, I write a lot of reviews. It's the only way businesses can A: benefit from the difficult to understand, and costly to pay for Google review process... And B: it's often the only way to get the attention of a business owner. In 2010, right after moving to OKC, my bass had some significant damage that needed to be repaired. I had just moved over 1000 miles from everything and everyone I knew, and had a severely broken instrument while trying to finish my doctorate and navigate my first year of full-time college teaching. Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, I took my bass to get repaired at K.C. Strings. Their work saved (and improved) my instrument, and too this day they are always the first place I go for anything bass-related. Thank you to Aidan and all the folks at the shop - they do it right the first time, very time!

I have been to this shop quite often over the last 10 years and have never had a bad experience. I originally started going as a student, shopped for instruments and materials here, and now take students instruments here as I am now an orchestra teacher.

The staff is very friendly and will to help out at all times. You will often see either Anton on Misha in the shop answering questions or helping out.

I also have been very pleased with their customer service. Repairs have been done quickly and done well. They also give reasonable quotes and are not pushy about extra things they suggest you might look into for your...
