We knew we wanted to find someone local, someone in the community, and had been looking at the storefront for many months. Finally drove in and noticed that they had very limited retail hours but when I called, realized that they would come to your house with samples and measure, etc. which is what we did, at our specified time and it was very easy to pick what we wanted. They installed our carpet within a few hours, efficiently, meticulously, and cleaned up everything afterward and vacuumed. The carpet looks great and their service is top notch. So much better than dealing with the big box stores or major carpet dealers. Already have him lined up for another job in our house.....can't wait. I first discovered Godfrey Family Carpets ten years ago when I moved into my new home. I was in desperate need of a new quality carpet before the movers arrived the next day with my furniture. Not only did Pat and his installers rip up the old carpet, they installed the new one in my extra large room before the movers arrived at 9 AM! I have since replaced many other carpets in my home and always call Godfrey Family Carpets. They are very professional, always on time, extremely neat and carry quality carpet at reasonable prices. Very Professional! We couldn't be more pleased with Pat and Deanna (owners) and Dean (employee) from start to finish. Carpeted our entire basement floor and stairwell with some difficult spots to get around. We had some special requirements that Home Depot would not do, but, Pat had no trouble doing the job. A pleasure to work with - always returning calls promptly and keeping us updated along the way; without prodding. Their work is high quality, very neat and reasonably priced. They even did some binding of some leftover carpet pieces to use as throw rugs. We highly recommend them. Oh, they are fun...
