This was my first classic car purchase. I've always purchased new cars off the lot because I worried about getting tricked into paying thousands for a problem car. Thankfully, my first "old car" purchase was with Paul at Classic Corner Garage. The experience was incredible and VERY easy from start to finish. Paul is one of those guys that you talk to for about 2 minutes and you feel like you've known him for years. The best part is he lives up to that feeling he gives you. Paul is incredibly honest, available (he answers calls and texts) and very reassuring throughout the process. I was buying a car that I did not test drive, or physically touch; photos only. Paul had a very lengthy and real conversation with me about what to expect when I received the car.
When I received the vehicle and drove her, she was BETTER than what I expected. The handling, the power, the condition of the car, and the upgrades put on it were better than what I thought I was paying for.
If it wasn't enough that Paul was an outstanding guy, I have to mention that he works with outstanding people as well. He put me in touch with Rick from Affordable Auto Transport and he bent over backwards to get me the car on a day that worked for me and at a very fair price. He sent the car with a driver named Mas who was incredibly courteous, patient and professional as well. Everyone kept in constant contact with me and to be honest I really looked forward to the calls. Not just because I enjoyed the process of buying the car, but because these guys all made me feel like I was talking to old friends.
If you are thinking about buying a classic ride, DO NOT HESITATE to call Paul at Classic Corner Garage. It will be a valuable call to make because he is incredibly knowledgeable, super fair, and way above board. He would be an outstanding resource to get a very old car that was very well taken care of or restored. I can tell you from my conversations with him, Paul LOVES these old rides and he really wants to see them go to people who enjoy them. He never gave me the impression that he was all business. Instead, it felt like I had a friend who is a true and honest guy that knows his stuff and was taking the time to see to it that I got started off right with a solid car and at a great price.
I've shown the car to a few friends and family members. A few mentioned the desire to find "the one" they used to have when... I told them the best thing they could do once they were serious, was to call up Classic Corner Garage.
I wrote a lot on this review because Paul and his company are truly worth it. In my lifetime, I've left maybe three written reviews on anything. I really want regular people like me to know this is a solid guy and a solid company to deal with and to help take away the concern and anxiety of wondering what the experience with Classic Corner Garage will be like.
Over the last several months I spent looking for the car I wanted, I uncovered scams, shady deals, terrible cars shined up and made to look like they were more than what they are, and sadly, several unfriendly people that did not want to take the time to answer many questions (please note, that was not every experience but it happened more often than I wished it would). Paul is a breath of fresh air and a relief to deal with and you will NEVER get the feeling that you are wasting his time or dealing with a "salesman."
I'm proud to call Paul a friend and to be a part of the Classic Corner Garage family.
Oh, and the car I bought... a 1968 Camaro Convertible. Orange paint, white top and white interior. It looks, sounds and feels amazing on the road. ...
Read moreRevised Review I initially gave them one star because I am.not able to get an appointment as a returning customer. After writing my original review, the owner called me saying that he saw that I was upset. He apologized and explained that when The Pandemic hit, it affected their suppliers and stuff with cars that are getting completely restored, which have been sitting there since then, and so they are not taking any more appointments, until they get rid of those cars. He then told me that come that time they will probably move away from.cimplete restores and focus more on regular Maintenance for these old cars, which is what I am trying to do, in which hopefully they will start having Gamache faster turnover, for anyone who wants their help. So I am increasing the stars because the ow et reached put to me,but not giving any more, simply because of the lack of appointment...
Read moreSo I’ve been looking for a 1963 Cadillac coupe Deville convertible for a roughly 20 years now. Paul from Classic had one in stock and was incredible to work with. I Live in Seattle and was not gonna be able to get down to Mesa Arizona for a month, Paul allowed me to purchase the vehicle and hold it for me until I was able to come down. I spent the weekend with my car and watching the Seahawks play the Cardinals, and then brought my car back to them to be shipped home. While driving my car that weekend the convertible top stopped working, Paul and his Staff made time to make sure my top got fixed before it got shipped home. I would highly recommend him to anyone! What Paul doesn’t know is that I’ve been in the automotive industry for 30 years, and this is the same type of service that I provide my customers. He’s one of the...
