I’ve been coming to Taquitos Jalisco on Broadway for years now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the absolute best parts of living in this neighborhood. I live just around the corner, and this place has become more than just a go-to for a quick meal it’s a staple in my life. From the very first time I walked through the doors, the warm, welcoming vibe and the incredible smell coming from the kitchen told me I had found something special. The food? Always on point. The carne asada tacos are hands-down my favorite, but every item I’ve tried has been bursting with authentic flavor and cooked to perfection. Their burritos are massive and satisfying, their salsa has just the right amount of heat, and even the rice and beans taste like they were made in someone’s home kitchen not a commercial kitchen. You can tell everything is made with love and pride. What really sets Taquitos Jalisco apart is the consistency. Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, the food quality and the hospitality are the same genuine, fresh, and full of heart. The people who work here are kind, hardworking, and always make you feel like you’re part of something local and real. It’s the kind of place where they remember your face and your usual order. OMG HANDS UP OR DOWN I DON’T CARE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA!!!!! I saw this place on Google, clicked on the review’s and was like this Restaurant we have got to try. So, I read the reviews to my Fiancé and he was like okay, let’s go. I’m so glad he said let’s go because WOW THIS PLACE is SUPERB!!! Their website say’s good, fresh, fast, Mexican Food. OMG, it is all so true. I moved here from Cali back in 2014, I ended up living in Chandler area. We just recently as of last year moved to Mesa. And this Gem has been here this whole time. We will surely be regulars. The crew here are super sweet, and very helpful for first timers. I got a three taco plate with rice and beans, el pastor, pork,& shredded steak. And my lover had 3 crunchy beef tacos with rice and beans. My Fiancé is from Texas he never has once finished rice and beans off his plate. Tonight he did. I devoured my tacos so flavorful, the rice was fluffy and flavorful and the beans were perfect. The portion’s are a lot. We combined still brought home a dinner plate. I’m so sad to even write this because this place is AMAZING. Every time I come here the food is perfect. So much so that I brought family visiting from out of the country for dinner here on their last night. Since their accents can be hard to understand, we clearly studied the menu and wrote it down so there wouldn’t be any confusion. Still, the young lady in the drive through treated us extremely disrespectfully. While ordering she repeatedly rudely answered questions even though she had misheard us. Once we got to the window and attempted to clarify our order (that she has assured us was right & would not let us correct at the speaker) the young lady again raised her voice at us and said “yeah, that’s why I already repeated myself.” Really embarrassing to bring your family to a restaurant and be gaslit & talked to in that way unprovoked. The young lady was heavy set and had her hair dyed blond. She worked at the window/drive through around 8pm on August 18th. I sincerely hope she does not treat other customers in the same way usually and happened to be having an off moment because it has really dulled the sparkle of our favorite...
