Fantastic Sams Cut & Color — Local services in Mesa

Was told there would be enough time for a perm if I was there by 5:45 since they close at 8 when they didn't have any appointments available all day Sunday for it. Went in and one lady said it takes longer, but the person assigned the appointment seemed fine with it, so decided to just trust them.

Paid 120 with tip, hair was still wet when leaving so was hoping for the best. Once it dried, the haircut is uneven, and perm didn't even hold the next day (I get more curl out of my hair perm-less when I style at home with my own curly hair products)... Seemed annoyed I was there too : /

Also I paid an extra 10 bucks to blow dry it, since I don't like leaving without seeing how it turns out to make sure the cut looks good, and got 5 min of drying before it was 8 and then was told they can't do anymore to avoid damaging the perm. I didn't want to be a bother, so said OK, even though any perms I've ever done before the stylist definitely blew it out to check for any errors in the cut with how the curls turned out.

Not too happy. Was hoping to find a new place to go in the area after moving from out of state, but realize now that I should've found an actual salon when wanting a real perm done. Will be looking for somewhere else to fix it next payday. I'm sure they are great for colors and cuts, just please beware if you perm. Would have been much happier if she was honest and straight up said to reschedule next weekend rather than feel terrible with how my hair turned out. OMG! I am in love with my new look!!! 😍 I've never felt this beautiful! Honestly tho I can't stop looking at what an amazing job Crystal did to my hair!!! Let me start out by saying!!! She is a very beautiful and pleasant women!!! Thank you for your expertise, and advice on what I was actually looking for and wanting done to my hair!!! Not only did I save more money, but most importantly my hair didn't get damaged and it looks 110% stunning!! When I first looked in the mirror I couldn't believe my eyes! I even said to her, that I hardly recognized myself, and that I look like a sexy fox!! And that's all because Crystal made it happen!!! She really took her time, and made sure all the colors popped out!!! And this was the best Holiday present to myself!!! Now I can feel sexy and confident and know that every penny was worth it!!! It was all done under 4 hours haha!!! If you want something done put your trust into Crystal and her staff! She will make it happen!!! So over the past few months my hair has been thinning and went from healthy and shiny to super dry, brittle and covered in split ends. It’s really messed with my self esteem and I couldn’t get it back to healthy no matter how many trims I got or products I used. Well I finally decided to to cut all the dead off, not just a trim this time. I walked into the salon embarassed of my hair, nervous and honestly a little scared I was making the wrong decision. But the women who cut my hair instantly made me feel at ease. I told her about my issues and ended up finding out it’s a side effect of COVID! I had Covid back in Feb and would have never guessed that it could be the cause. She assured me we would get my hair looking good and gave me a lot of tips on how to speed up the growth. I initially wanted to cut just a few inches below my shoulder line but she encouraged me to cut above my shoulders to get rid of all the dead. I was realllly nervous but she made me feel comfortable the whole time. Let me tell you, I walked out of that salon feeling so confident and like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. She not only gave me my confidence back, but she showed me there IS light at the end of the tunnel.
