I have spent over $5,000 in the past 8 months with Molino Home Furnishings and Patio and besides the 4-6 weeks they typically take to finish the furniture I have had an ok experience. I needed two end tables that went with my outdoor furniture and I was told they would have that done again in 4-6 weeks. I call the office going on the 6th week and Steve tells me they are slammed with business and they are running behind which I understand. Then we were gong on 3 months and I called them again rather then them reaching out to me keeping me updated and spoke to Steve. Once again telling me they are still "slammed" and just full of excuses about HIS business which no customer wants to here. Rather than having some empathy he just gives me the it is what it is and still said he's "probably" 2-3 more weeks out. I told him since I paid in full with cash to save him CC processor fees I MAY just want to get my money back IF it's too much longer and he said if you want to do that no problem. So I called yesterday 2 weeks after that conversation and he said yes they are done but I sold them to someone else. Steve didn't even call me!! Waited patiently over 3 months after I paid in full to him to sell them to someone else. One of the worse customer experiences I have had and especially directly from the owner of the company. The outdoor furniture is very expensive but I like giving a small business the opportunity and unfortunately Steve the owner just doesn't care about the customer like other small businesses. He didn't even offer to try and make it right because apparently he's "slammed" with...
Read moreWe were tired of buying patio furniture every few years, because the materials and construction could not last in our harsh weather. Also tired of chasing it into the yard or pool during monsoon season! We decided to check out Molino. We met Steve the owner, he was great! He showed us all the styles and sizes he has on display, then he explained that every piece is custom made to fit what we needed, from the style of the iron to the depth of the seat, even the cushions and everything is made right there in his facility! We like t he thought of buying local! We decided on the "New Yorker" style and then we saw the fire pit he had on display. The base for the fire pit did not match the furniture that we wanted so we asked Steve if he could create a base that did. He said , "yes". After he and I collaborated on a few designs we came up with one that worked. Steve emailed me the prototype before it went to powder coating and it was exactly what we wanted. Steve told us that the whole process would take about 4 to 6 weeks, he delivered it all in about 3 weeks! Then once he noticed where our curved couched were going to live, he suggested armrest pads to avoid burnt arms from then sitting in the direct sun, what a guy! Everything about this furniture is amazing, Molino exceeded our expectations...
Read moreHi all - heads up!!! Steve Molino paid a 3rd party to move my Father-in laws motor home that we were paying to be stored at his old location on Gilbert Road to his new location. He did this without any pre-approval - he just had them fire it up and drive on down the road! It caught on fire during the trip and burned down to the frame. Steve offered no help or restitution, and put his lawyers in touch with us after we called him numerous times to figure out where the RV was. It was the 3rd party that clued us in on what actually happened to the RV, that it was a total loss, and all of my dearly departed mother in laws keep sakes that were in it were lost too.
How about that - proceed with caution with this company and Steve. To make matters worse - I did business with Steve for about 20 years, buying furniture for our houses, our kids houses, and ironically my father in laws house too! In addition to storing various RV's, Trailers, Boats, etc at his place over those years.
Thanks for the loyalty in return Steve, I hope this gets read by your current and future potential customers so they know what they are...
