Don't let the area deter you from some bomb a%$ chicken and ribs!

We had lunch here on Sunday and it did not disappoint. We ordered at the counter and the cashier was friendly. We ordered:

One order of 15 pieces of chicken - comes with tortillas, pickled onions, grilled jalapenos One large Mashed potatoes One large Macaroni salad 4 canned sodas

Total: $65

The food was given to us quickly. The tortillas were hard and still cold so we asked for them to be warmed up more. After a few minutes, they came back HOT. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a nice crispy & charred flavor. The mashed potatoes were hot, creamy, and tasted really good. The macaroni was another hit as it was really simple but very good. The grilled jalapenos were spicy and the pickled onions went well with the chicken.

We ate about 9 pieces of the chicken and had plenty to take home. We ended up ordering a rack of ribs to go and omg the ribs are delicious! They are very flavorful and thick, ugh so good! I will definitely be back sooon...

Omg!!! Where do I start.. The place is soooo clean and the smell of the chicken, Intoxicating. I couldn't wait to place and taste my order. I told the guy it was my time there and it didn't make a difference to him, he just wanted to know it I was ready to order.. I was contemplating on getting a 1/2 slab of ribs.But they are a little pricey and again I hadn't been there before? So I decided to get the half chicken $11. and some changed to go. Got home and I really thought they have given me half a Cornish hen, the pieces were so small. However , I overlooked it because the smell was just like I said intoxicating. I took my first bite into a half of a half of a chicken breast, omg!!! Seasoning was on point, but the meat was the driest meat that I ever damn near choked on... I have visited this place 3 times, and 2 out 3 they have run out of Pollo 🤔 being that there name is El Pollo its very awkward that they don't have any 1 hour before their closing time. We tried it before and it was great. This time, we had to try their ribs, and they are as good, no complaints about the flavor as it is very homemade everything.

Service was polite. Maybe my disappointment is them not having their main dish.

Atmosphere is very plain all they had were couple of TVs' on, maybe some music will be better as I feel the shows on were more for employees. The place is extremely clean. We got to give them that. Yes, I will come back 🤞hoping they have their delicious...
