Approximately 10pm we arrived at this location.
We placed our order after some wait time at the order station. While they repeated our order a man approached my vehicle asking for 4 dollars, this caused me not to hear an extra 2 orders for large fries.
After paying they typically ask you to pull forward regardless of the size of order, this is probably to make their order times seem better than they are as the time stops.
During this time I notice I been charged for 4 total large fry in error. Someone pulls behind me and their resturant doors are locked. So I just went around to the window.
This is where it got interesting! Upon informing them of the mistake, the first employee defended herself as she said she repeated the order to which I agreed, but we had a distraction. We just needed two orders of fry removed. They thought we wanted a refund for the full order or something as they seemed to imply, no just a minor correction. We paid half cash so it's an easy fix. Just void the items and issue the allotted refund. It went as expected, exception to the list of excuses the team member gave about verifying the order before she got the manager (this is the first thing to do in this case...)
The manager apparently seems to have lost her voice so she signals to have the initial employee translate to me. After repeating myself she hands out the cash and explained what happened to the employee. I believe shes new, so they hand us the bags and close the window.
So we wait, and the manager whome couldn't speak ran at the window and yelled at us "You got your money and can go now!" (We only waited about 30 seconds)
"I'm waiting for my drinks?..." (The 2 larger Dr.Peppers.)
The look of horror on her face was a mix of shock, embarrassment, and frustration.
It seemed like she yelled at the employee over drinks, her arrogance is astonishing. For minor background, both my wife and I are managers of dominos at various locations. This is absolutely NOT how you treat customers OR employees. It was a mistake, big deal. We laughed about the encounter the entire ride home.
I give this food a 3/5 it isnt perfect but good enough
I give management a 1/5 for extremely unprofessional behavior that includes mocking my order before making it. Yes, we can hear you through the window quite well. These kinds of restaurants only afford discount managers. I had no intention of complaining, on the contrary this made my night. I seen some bad managers but damn that was funny.
My advice is simple. Do not assume. If you must address a customer do not assume its because they want to attack you.
Like I said, we were just waiting for our drinks. We did not deserve to...
Read moreHorrible. I was asked to pull forward and wait for my cheeseburger and fries - neither of which were custom in any way. Normally I do not mind waiting a minute or two as that assures me that my food is being served hot and fresh. Unfortunately this could not be further from the truth of what I was given. The bun was dry and crumbly as if it were several days old. The burger was cold ... and I don't mean it wasn't hot. I don't mean it was warm. I mean it was cold - like straight out of the refrigerator cold. When I called the store to give them a chance to rectify the matter, it took me asking three times to find out who the person was that I was speaking with. The person, who I had to ask his name, stated he was the manager. After I explained the situation, he basically accused me of lieing since "they make everything fresh and to order" and "I'm the only one who called to complain about cold food". Is that BK policy? If so, please advise and I will make sure never to do business with BK again. SMH whatever happened to customer service and...
Read moreOrdered a bacon king and a bacon king Jr plain. Got to the window and paid. Heard one of the cooks asked if that was correct and the chick at the window said no it was bacon king Jr and rodeo king. So then when the window chick came back I asked her to make sure it was indeed it was a bacon king and bacon king Jr. She said yes that's what she told them and immediately walks away. I look back at the receipt.
Bacon king Jr and rodeo king! So before she hands my food to me and ask again. That's a bacon king and not a rodeo king right ? She rolls her eyes and then tells the cooks that I now want to switch from a rodeo to a bacon king.
We finally leave and get home after that fiasco to find that in top of messing up our first burger, the bk Jr was NOT plain, and I had to spend the next 10 minutes trying to wipe down mayo and ketchup off my bacon and burger and by then my food was cold.
The most frustrating part about this was there was no cars in front of us and only 1 car behind us in the drive thru. I have no idea why she was rushing...
