If I could give this golf course zero stars I would. We finished 6 holes in 3 hours, the pace of play here is a complete joke and unless everyone playing is tiger woods the entire course is bound to be backed up like it was. I have been working all week and decided on my day off to go golfing just like any normal person would. Well let me tell you if you have a day off I highly recommend staying as far away as possible from this course, a complete joke and embarrassment to be charging $30+ for this place. When we first arrived outside service was the most open armed welcoming people ever but let me tell you the ranger who wasn’t anywhere making sure pace of play was moving had a real attitude that I can’t even believe he was even hired to work for a place that calls themselves a golf resort in the first place. Since play was so backed up the group in front of us and my group decided we would do a scramble with all of us because it was the same pace as if we waited honestly it was probably quicker but let me tell you The cart lady I was not about to let that happen. A cart lady is there to serve drinks and give good customer service well there cart lady was the opposite my close buddy waved at her and instead of waving back and showing good customer service she ignored and gave the most disgusting look back. I seriously don’t and will not even recommend this course to anyone I ever meet it’s a complete joke and whoever says otherwise is lying...

This evening, Christmas day, we ordered 4 meals, the prime rib dinner, the lemon herbed salmon dinner, the turkey dinner and the ham dinner for pickup. Since one of the family members was under the weather, we decided to play it safe and stay home as to not spread it around to all the others, grams, gramps, cousins, aunties, uncles, etc. Let me tell you, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure we received our meals. Of course, as I go to pick up my order, I go out to a dead battery. I called to let them know, I will be late picking up, however I will be there. They call me back and COME PICK ME UP to ensure my family got our Christmas dinner fresh and hot! Every meal came with all the fixings, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry, rolls, salad, soup, bread and PIE, we even got pumpkin pie y'all!! I have been in the hospiality industry for almost 20 years, this service was like no other service that I have seen in a very long time, maybe even ever. Julie and Judy, special shout out to them for really displaying excellent customer service and really performing a Christmas miracle! You both have made me realize that people are good and I am truly thankful and blown away by how much their acts of kindness can really make a difference in this crazy world! Julie came and picked me up and was truly the real MVP of our experience. Thank you so much! Oh and the food was phenomenal as usual!! We will...

This Westgate property is a nice place to stay, but is somewhat dated already. I believe it started as a timeshare vacation resort, but we stayed a week here booked through our airline, and are not part of the timeshare, nor were we pressured to buy into it. We were assigned the smallest studio room, as did our travel companions, who had noise issues with two different neighbors in their adjoining room. I would stay here again, but they said they would not. Parking in the evenings can be a challenge, so expect to walk a ways (safely) to your room if you go out for dinner or shopping. The amenities were nice, especially if you bring children, which we did not. We enjoyed the heated pool and both sets of jacuzzis on the property. There is also a jacuzzi tub in the rooms which my wife used daily. The base of the tubs in both rooms we saw were dark colored, from lack of proper and regular scrubbing, which was the only visible lack of cleanliness. The beds were excellent, and we slept well. Plenty of phone charger plugs were available in the room, plus a fridge and microwave in the tiny kitchenette. Most rooms have outside seating available, which we also used. There is close access here to AZ-202 freeway, and lots of shopping and...

I would love to give this course a 5-star review but I can’t due to the poor management that I encountered on Saturday, January 30. Despite two separate phone calls in our group to get a Marshall out to speed up the pace of play, I didn’t see a Marshall sent out after they promised one would be sent out. Unfortunately me along with 20 other golfers were victims of having to wait 10+ minutes on every hole due to one group ahead that appeared to be golfing for the first time. I paid for 18 holes on my afternoon round but I was unable to finish my round due to darkness - and there wasn’t anybody in the pro shop to offer a rain check or anything like that. On a positive note, this course has excellent conditions and has some really fun holes, it’s a great course for beginners to learn on but once again, there needs to be a Marshall out monitoring the pace of play or else it’s a very frustrating experience for everyone involved.

Staying here now and if I could leave I would. The walls are SO thin I can hear the man next door clear his throat. I could hear his telephone conversation both sides. Every person in the parking lot passing by was like in the room. I asked for room to be cleaned.. they changed bed. No clean towels in 7 days. I finally took them to laundry mat and washed towels. The pool is not monitored and clearly people not staying here are using it. And they were rude and taking over ther pool. No towels at the pool. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
