I can't really express exactly how incredible an experience I had at Rocky's with Joel the sales rep I worked with, Paul the GM, Justin, and most importantly Ken in the shop. I was not expecting any of this, either in the buying experience and the support after the fact. First, the buying experience was great. I was more than just a difficult customer. I was a "buy here pay here" customer. I came in late in the afternoon, had to leave and come back. By then they were about to close, but they stayed to help me finish. Then the finance people (who were somewhere else, I don't know where, but not sitting in front of me) stayed late too to finish things up. I didn't even know this until it had happened. I wasn't being rushed out of the building or anything, they just HANDLED it. That’s a good summation. Everything they did they just handled it like it was no big deal, and clearly had me in mind when making decisions. Now, my truck was a fluke, and when it started to happen my heart started to drop. It broke down, and "OMG I got screwed!! I bought this just a little while ago and it’s broken down and now they're gonna leave me out in the cold!" NOPE. Wrong. Completely mistaken. Couldn't have been more wrong. I'm afraid to get into the details because I don't want to put them in a situation to be taken advantage of by greedy customers. They replaced parts that hadn't even broken down yet as they did the work (and like I said, they didn't even ask, they just HANDLED it with me in mind). Ken in the shop even came in early on a weekend (the shop is usually closed on the weekends I think), and got more work done on it. I thought I was going to get my truck back on Tuesday, and ended up getting it on Monday. This is not the kind of experience I usually expect from an auto dealership of ANY kind, let alone a used dealership, AND LET ALONE a second chance credit type of place. The story could continue even past that. I've gotten nothing but support from them after the fact, and the deal I got to begin with was more than fair, clear, and completely delivered upon. It's been a while now, and the truck is running like a champ. And remember, I'm a "buy here pay here" customer. WHAT?!?! Yeah I know. If you are looking for a used car, in a bad credit situation, or otherwise just want to experience the kind of customer service I received, go to Rocky's. You won't be disappointed. Heck you might even be motivated to bring them...
Read moreI got a vehicle from Liz who knew I needed something reliable for my kids and I as I am 8 months pregnant. She expressed she understood and kept on me to purchase a car so when I did 4 days later the engine light came on a long with other issues she and her manager Fernando knew about but told me not to worry because it can be fixed. Fernando the manager has made promises to resolve the issue but he lacks communication. I've been getting the run around for the past 2 weeks while the car has been being worked on needing a body control module, the mechanic they use also lacks communication giving me a date the car will be ready but when it comes it isn't ready, mechanic is always gone not working on the vehicle. Last week I was told if it was not fixed by today I would be able to switch out the vehicle. So far I've spent money I saved for my down payment and I have made my first car payment even though I haven't been able to enjoy the vehicle. I'm paying for a car I haven't even used!! the mechanic gave approval for me to get switched for another vehicle but Fernando is barely in the office to even go through with the swap. "Tomorrow he should be in". When I ask for my money back they refer me to the bank they use which isn't fair because we pay CASH so we should get the CASH back. I understand about the car payment to the bank but not understanding why I'm getting the run around. It's very unprofessional and when I speak to the representatives they just laugh about the situation. It's very frustrating and I don't think I will recommend Rocky's auto to any friends or family because of this situation. They told me to go back tomorrow 1/4/25 to get swapped out for a different vehicle so hoping that's what happens if not then I expect my money back! I'll be updating my review based on tomorrows interactions. This should have been a stress-free situation and hoping coming into the new year with a new car not bad news and a...
Read moreI purchased a car from them just before Covid-19 hit. At the time I was working and had no problem making payments. When I got my car it ran fine for the first week. After which I had two flats in one day on separate occasions. Of course my warranty didn't cover that so I paid outta pocket to fix it. Then a couple months ago I somehow blew a head gasket, which I only travel to and from work everyday which is about 20 miles a day give or take. After reading the warranty and looking at my engine I'd noticed the serpentine belt had snapped. I called them to ask about the warranty and what it covers for clarity. Every time I call I'm met with a too busy response or I'm sitting on the phone waiting for the service department to never answer. When they did they told me they knew nothing about the warranty. Yet you guys sold me the car so you should know right? Had to pay to get it towed all of 10 miles to their location after it got impounded. Thinking it would be a quick fix they told me it'd be ready the following Monday then told me I apparently blew a head gasket. Like I said they told me they knew nothing about the warranty and gave me another number to call to speak to someone who could give more details. The person I spoke with was cool. However after talking to him this one day I haven't heard from any of them since. Because I had no car I lost my job. So I couldn't pay my car note on time. Got behind. They basically took my car. Never tried to fix it. Now during a pandemic I'm jobless and even worse carless. In the Arizona heat at that. Very displeased. Not much communication, and people I dealt/spoke with have no manners. I just want my car back so I can get...
