If I could give zero stars I would. The "management" is very unprofessional. The grooming salon was very unprofessional the last two times which will be the LAST time! After moving to Mesquite we took our Shih Tzu there and was groomed very professionally by Amber. The time before last went (had an appointment) and Debbie was the groomer and refused to touch our dog. Had an appointment today and after shaving down the body then bathing our Shih Tzu they took her to the vet because of some chewing. Refused to finish the groom and gave us our dog back half groomed. WHY can't the groomer come to the vet's office OR a totally separate room to finish the groom. I am quite sure this isn't the only time something like this has happened. Instead of returning our Shih Tzu half groomed they could have finished the groom in a separate room. The issue isn't the groomer .. AMBER did an awesome job and had done an awesome job the first time she was groomed. The issue is how the store handled the situation. Alicia (an employee) claimed to be in charge but wouldn't listen and only kept saying it's the store policy. From the reviews I have read previously on here I am quite sure it wouldn't be worth it to call the manager - Edgar Nunez - because I am sure he could care less. Haven't talked to "Kim" - the salon manager because she is conveniently not available each time I have asked for her. But I have resolved the situation .. we will never visit that location again unless the management is changed and the employee who is left in charge is trained on how to better handle situations like this. I am attaching a photo of the "groomed" Shih Tzu .. this is how we...
Read moreIâve only brought my dog here to be boarded at the PetsHotel less than a handful of times over the past three or so years - always as a last resort, when his usual place doesnât have room and all other nearby places are also full - and unfortunately canât say Iâve ever had a good experience. This last time, I boarded him for 3 consecutive nights between Christmas and New Yearâs. I paid for him to be bathed and get his nails trimmed. Didnât notice until after I got home from picking him up that it appeared his nails didnât get cut at all...or else someone doesnât know how to trim nails. Makes me question if he actually got a bath or not. And I arrived about 15 minutes later than when I told them I would be there to pick him up, so the excuse canât be used that he was picked up earlier than expected. Not sure if there is any oversight to check that these extra services being paid for by the customer are actually being done, and/or if theyâre being done satisfactorily (my assumption is ânoâ based on this last trip). I donât think it should be the responsibility of the customer to check that the work has been done. And if for whatever reason, the service(s) couldnât be carried out, then just let me know it wasnât done BUT THEN ALSO DONâT CHARGE ME FOR IT. I was also given one dayâs worth of his food back with no explanation as to why - did he still have food leftover from the previous day that he hadnât eaten? Did they give it to him and he didnât eat it so they put it back in the bag? Or did they just not give it to him at all? I donât plan on taking my dog here to board ever again - in the future, Iâd rather cancel my travel plans than bring...
Read moreUpdated Review 4/8/18: My wife called the grooming salon to try and schedule an appointment for our dog. The person on the other end of the line was unprofessional and kept interrupting her. They then said that their system had gone down and they were unable to view appointments. After another minute, they said that they were "fulled up through Thursday". When my wife asked how they knew that if the system was down, the lady said "Because I just do," and hung up on my wife. The unprofessionalism of this location is atrocious.
Original Review 10/16/17: Needed to take my dog to see the vet, but only available options for today was to schedule a drop-off visit. Got there around 9:30ish in the morning, told them that I would wait with my dog since she is a service animal (technically an ESA, as she still helps me w/ my PTSD, but no one knows what I mean when I call her an ESA). Was told by a blonde chick with a nosering that she couldn't wait with me and that they still had to put her in a kennel. I asked how long it would be, was told by the same chick that she would be ready for pickup by lunchtime. So, I agreed and left her. I returned at 2pm thinking that surely she was ready by now and they probably called me wife to get her instead of me, only to discover that not only had they not even seen her yet, that they wouldn't get to her for almost another hour. I took her and left. I have never had a positive encounter at this store despite the numerous chances I have given it. I wish I could give negative stars for this location. DO NOT TAKE YOU PET TO THIS STORE...
