pOpshelf — Local services in Mesquite

This used to be one of my favorite stores to go into thanks to Yvette. She is a really good person upon applying to work at this store. I was told that I was needed the store manager. Steve gave me an interview, but I could tell that he was not interested in really having an interview with me. Yvette informed me of some grateful information if it was up to her. I’m sure I’d have the job but due to her store manager, Stephen, I was not chosen now I’m not mad about this decision. It’s the way the decision got handled. I’m not gonna say that he’s a racist because I don’t believe that, but when me and my family just went into the store and everybody else got greeted by him except for us, it confirmed how I felt I will not be shopping at the store anymore, nor will I be shopping at any other pop shells my wife asked me if Steven knew me why did he just ignore me so I’m leaving this review because I did not like how he basically...

This was my first time kinda 2nd ever in this store, I actually came from a distance to visit this location. This store smells so amazing. The Asst manager Yvette and the young man working with her this morning on July 5th I apologize I forgot his name were amazing. So kind and very helpful & went up and beyond with customer service, care and concern. The way they treated me brought back what we’re really missing today awesome customer service. These two had the brightest smiles & welcoming. This is a plus to pop shelf. Their vibe says management and we value our customers. I highly recommend this store & location. A because of these 2 I will be coming back and I will be telling everyone go check out pop shelf you won’t regret it they have everything right along with awesome service. Store is clean and tidy. Lots of home decor and regular shopping available. Shelves are packed and neat. Displays are cute and inviting.

One downside: Their listed store phone number rings and then makes the out of service dial tone. No one picks up. Very frustrating when you are trying to call and ask a simple question. I live in Forney so I’d rather call and ask than drive all the way out there to find out they can’t help me with my request.
