Negotiated a deal before I drove 6 hours to trade in my vehicle. Upon arrival they were ready to go. Paperwork was ready and quickly completed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. One small issue which is the reason for 4 stars. I sent photos of my trade ahead of time. It had a small door ding that was clearly in the pictures. They did not ask for additional pictures prior to negotiating the trade value. Upon arrival I was advised by the sales person that the ding was worse than they thought and they wanted an additional reduction in the value of my trade. The additional amount wasn’t unreasonable and we split the difference. In the end it was a relatively small amount for both sides but it made the overall experience less than perfect. After all, the additional amount they got from me would have been better spent( my opinion) on me giving a stelar review. I would have instead, noted in this review, that they didn’t consider the ding as much in the original trade offer but they honored there negotiated price none the less. That of course didn’t happen. I felt this part was almost intentional because they knew I drove 6 hours there and 6 hours home. In the end I’m very happy with my new truck and I would probably buy from this dealership again.

Great experience!! I seen this car on cargurus and went in to check it out. I met with Sam told him how much I had and he worked his magic to get the car I wanted!. Sam was patient not over bearing listened and totally understood me and the assignment!. Long story short Sam is the man!! I love love my car and the process. Would recommend anyone to to in and speak with Sam!! Super fun guy and fun of energy!.. I go of vibes and he was excited for me and my purchase and did what ever it took to get me riding

From the time we walked in to the time we purchased my fiancé 2023 ford bronco Wildtrak Matthew and the Metter ford team was absolutely wonderful. They didn’t try to get us for our money with crazy mark ups, fees, and was very easy to work with. Matthew was very straightforward and communicated great. Jim made sure my fiancé had the best and affordable coverage on her bronco at the best rate and did not try to screw Us over with half coverage. I highly suggest this ford dealership if your in GA

This was one of the worst car buying experiences I've ever experienced. I called the dealership about a used vehicle they had for sale. I spoke with their salesman Grant Gilbert. I gave him a little back story about our car search experience to this point about how I had driven all over looking at different vehicles and how I had been let down many times by being told a vehicle was in near new condition only to find out they may be 5 out of 10 vehicles. I was very clear that I was very peculiar shopper and really wanted an honest depiction of the vehicles condition inside and out since they were 2 hrs away. He insisted on several different times throughout the process that the vehicle was in great shape and no issues at all (I asked specifically if the vehicle had any dents, dings, scratches, odors, stains, tears or cracks in interior. Basically if there was anything not new condition I just wanted to be aware of it so I didn't waste my time or his). On a plus note the dealership was offering to deliver the vehicle to prevent me from making the trip (did this with my last vehicle from Mercedes of Columbus and was easily the best car buying experience I ever had. They were overly transparent with the vehicle I purchased which is what I had expected from Grant @ Metter Ford). I was certain that I had been very clear of my expectations and this would be an easy sale if the vehicle was in the condition I was told. So to move forward on the vehicle I asked Grant about a few potential scratches that appeared on the rear bumper and to just do one last inspection to make sure he didn't overlook anything like these scratches again. After reassuring me that the vehicle was in great shape I gave the ok to run credit to see if they could beat my credit union. They actually did good there and was inline with current approval and streamline the transaction I was just going to use them. So its delivery day and I take off work to meet the delivery driver (super nice and very understanding of my anger after vehicle was delivered). The vehicle pulls up and the 100 ft. view is everything we had hoped for, however the 10ft view was not nearly as pleasing. Upon closer inspection the driver side fog light was completely knocked loose, the front bumper had a huge dent with blue paint streaks down it, the driver seat was scratched and cracked, the rear door and back of driver seat had been drawn over with an ink pen, the 3rd row seat had a tear, the other rear seat had a green stain on it almost like play dough had been smashed into the seat. Scratches and dents continued to the rest of the vehicle and apparently the previous owner lived on a dirt road because the rear latch had what appeared to be permanent stain to it that was completely different color from the rest of the vehicle. So after asking multiple times about the condition of this vehicle, none of these issues were ever disclosed. Grant Gilbert thank you for wasting my time, your time, the delivery drivers time, wasting the dealerships money and dinging my credit for nothing and costing me a day from work. I understand we were buying a used vehicle and know that it was in used condition but I trusted you to be my eyes during the transaction and that was a mistake. Maybe you should try a little honesty and transparency in the future it may sell you a few...

My wife and I have bought our last five cars through a site where you can look at them online and have them shipped to a site in Savannah to test drive and purchase. When we decided to buy another car, we repeated what we have done in the past. We went to Savannah and took a car for a 24-hour test drive. The next day we returned to Savannah to buy the car, but after waiting three hours in the showroom to sign the paperwork, the salesperson came to us and said that they could not sell that car due to a mileage error on the title. After talking it over, we understood that people make mistakes so we chose another car online. We waited for five days for the car to arrive in Savannah. On the fifth day, we received an email that the car had arrived and was being “evaluated” before we saw it. After waiting another two days, I emailed the salesperson to ask when we could see the car. I received a reply three days later saying that the car was ready for us to purchase. We had waited a total of ten days just to see the car. After eight days we felt frustrated that it took so long for us to be able to even see the car, so we started to look at other cars locally. We eventually made our way to Metter Ford where we found a car we would consider buying. It was late on Saturday afternoon when we arrived at the dealership, but within 10 minutes a salesperson, Matt McCullough, came to ask if he could help us. From the time we first met Matt until the day we picked up our car, he made us feel as though our business and helping us was his top priority. He was not pushy, but he made it clear that our satisfaction was important to him. Jim Mock, the finance manager at Metter Ford, was equally as helpful. He offered us options for financing a car but made it clear that it was up to us if we decided to finance a car through the resources he offered or through our bank. I told Jim that if we decided to buy a car we would need to get a cashier’s check for our down payment. He replied that he was fine with taking a personal check. Though it was late on Saturday afternoon, Matt and Jim made it clear to us that if we wanted to drive away in a new car they would make it happen that day. We decided to check finance rates through our bank before buying a car. Neither Matt nor Jim pressured us to decide that day. The following Monday we bought a 2020 Mustang from Metter Ford. My wife and I still talk about the exemplary customer service we received from Matt and Jim, and how our car buying experience was so different than buying a car through the internet-based dealership. To say the least, my wife loves her Mustang. It is refreshing to know that businesses still exist where the old saying, “The customer is king”, still applies. The internet is a great resource for buying items like paper towels and other disposable items, but I do not believe we will ever buy another car through an internet-based dealership. We enjoyed the personal touch the staff at Metter Ford provided while we were buying a car. This time our car buying experience ended at Metter Ford but if we ever want another car or truck that is where we will begin. I highly recommend Metter Ford and encourage anyone looking for a new car to ask for Matt McCullough when you arrive at...

My husband and I purchased a used vehicle from here in November of last year. On the drive home I noticed a small stutter but assumed it just came from the car needing to be driven. By the next day the stutter had gotten worse and the check engine light was flashing. The next day the check engine light was on and has stayed on. I noticed on their facebook page that the manager was commenting to people with bad reviews to contact him to discuss their issue. Well, I did by email, and never heard a word back from him. Funny thing is when I was in the market for a vehicle, I couldn't get the emails to stop....So after no word from him we called the dealership and they told us to bring it in. They quoted us 1200. They said the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor needed replacing. I had only had the vehicle for 3 days at this point! One thing I do know about converters are they don't just go out, they must have rigged something to keep the CEL light off for test drives because the vehicle has had that problem for a while. Our salesperson was very nice and he told us when we brought the vehicle that it is sold "as is", and I have complete understanding of what as is means, however I thought we would get some courtesy due to the fact that we hadn't even had the vehicle for one week! Ours salesman said their manager does give repairs at a "discounted price" if something goes wrong with the vehicle early on. We brought that up when we were quoted the 1200. We were told that the actual cost was around 1700 for someone off the street and they were doing us a favor. We overheard the manager yelling at our salesman for not making it CLEAR to us that the vehicle was "as is". We felt so sorry for him, because HE DID tell us that, we just assumed that this was a stand up dealership that would at least stand behind their vehicles for a week! Boy were we wrong!! We got quotes from local repair shops that were up to 250 dollars cheaper than their supposed "discounted price". Then they tried to charge us 50 dollars for the diagnostic test on a vehicle we got from them less than a week ago!! We viewed vehicles at three other dealerships that offered us a 30 day warranty on their used cars, but I made the rookie mistake of falling in love with a certain vehicle and Metter "Ford so happened to have that vehicle on their lot. We literally have to PAY for that mistake now. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone in the market if they are looking for a used vehicle. If a dealership can't give you a thirty day warranty, go somewhere else. Trust me there are places that will give you one. It sends off major red flags that they cant stand behind their used vehicles...
