Jumping Celebrations — Local services in Metuchen

Beware! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We rented 2 slides for an event. They were supposed to show up at 11. I called around 11:30 only to be told they were “running late” and they would call me within 30 minutes with an ETA. 40 minute s later I call them back. I was informed they JUST left their warehouse and will arrive to me in an hour (which would make them 2 1/2 hours late and a half hour late to my event...keep in mind they still have to set the 2 slides up). They drive to the wrong field despite being given a street address. When the arrive, they show up with a DIFFERENT slide than we ordered. The gentleman tells us we can use the one slide as wet or dry...we opt for wet. The children are FLYING off the slide, onto the ground. We ask the employee where the landing pad is...surely there must be one....this is far too dangerous. He assures is there is not one, and directs me to call his boss. She informs me it is only a dry slide even though the slide is called Roaring River! Their website shows this particular slide as a water slide with an additional slip and slide attachment. The company claims it can also be used as a dry slide without the slip and slide which is perfectly fine, however the attendant SHOULD NOT have set it up as a water slide than. A child could have gotten seriously hurt!! The second slide we ordered did arrive and worked fine. Overall, they were two and a half hours late, sent the wrong slide, only sent 1 person to put the slides up despite their screw up and put our children in harms way. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone EVER! The woman in the office was apologetic, however it just doesn’t make up for stress and unnecessary aggravation they caused today. I rented the large castle combo bouncer for a joint birthday party for my 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son. All 47 kids and the adults loved it! Wendy and Greg are so nice and a pleasure to rent from. They also have a huge water slide which the kids love and cotton candy, sno-cone, and popcorn machines. They had 3 yummy cotton candy flavors (Blue raspberry, strawberry, and green apple) and many sno-cone flavors. We also rented tables and chairs from them. We enjoyed the party so much we just may have to rent from them...

We hosted a party over the weekend where we rented a jumping house with a slide. They came out hours early to set up and cleaned up the slide area before they left. And after the party they were like Ninja's. We didn't even know they were cleaning up! Only one thing we were not expecting is to pay cash.
