HM Nail Salon — Local services in Miami Beach

Stopped by today for an eyebrow wax and had THE WORST experience. The technician literally waxed off 1/3 of my eyebrow. When I went to the front very upset and said I wasn't paying for the service, the women at the desk was so rude. She kept saying she didn't see what the problem was even though it was painfully obvious what had happened. The women that did the waxing kept saying my eyebrows were like that when I came in, which they most definitely were not. My skin gets very red after a waxing and you could see that she went too high up with the wax because my skin was red in that area. You would think that if a client was that upset, angry and near tears because a chunk of her eye brow was missing that they would do something to make it right, like not charging for the service. But no, all I got was a bunch of attitude from them. I said I was never coming back and would be leaving a bad review as soon as I could and they said "go ahead". We made an appointment for 5 people for a bridal party three weeks in advance. No one even bothered to call us until the day of when they said that they needed us to come in later. When we originally called we said that all 5 would be doing dip. They decide to tell us the morning of that they only have one nail tech who knows how to do dip... when we booked 5 at one time... weeks ago.

With the exception of one tech everyone here is incredibly rude. The manager (I’m assuming that’s what she is) had no clue how to manage more than one person at a time. We were told that only one tech knew how to add tips to nails. I’m not even sure anyone here is certified by the state to do nails as there are no certifications anywhere as normal salons do.

I’ve been here for 3 hours and I have not seen anyone clean a single thing despite having the sign on the door that they are sanitizing.

Poor customer service! Won’t return...I went here to get a pedicure and have been at HM before with no issues. Asked for the 35 dollar pedicure rather than express which includes hot towel and massage. Got emergency call from boss and had to leave immediately. I never got my toenails polished and received no massage or hot towel service but was still charged 35. The nail lady threw a hot towel over my legs as I am trying to get up lol I guess to warrant the 35 dollar price tag. I don’t even expect a discount though I didn’t receive the whole service I paid for. Total Greed! An owner/Mgr who actually cared would at LEAST say come back tomorrow and we will paint your nails at the minimum!! All they cared about was the money and I even tipped 7 dollars as I rushed out the door and didn’t have time to argue. Sad because this nail salon is very convenient to my gym! The pedicurist was...
