ABSOLUTELY DIGUSTING AND POORLY MANAGED FACILITY. ......
THIS LOCATION IS FILTHY AND LITERALLY SMELLS LIKE A SEWER WHEN YOU WALK IN.
THE MUSIC IS ALWAYS BLARING WAY TOO LOUD. TODAY I ARRIVED AT 8:30 AM AND AS A SPECIAL TREAT, THEY SET UP A KARAOKE MACHINE AND PUT IT ON FULL BLAST PLAYING RAP SO LOUDLY THAT I COULD NOT HEAR IN MY HEADPHONES ! THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE BLARING MUSIC ALREADY PLAYING OVER THE SPEAKERS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????
WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE VOLUME, THE GIRL AT COUNTER SAID THAT IT IS FOR THE TRAINER AND IT STAYS ON. SURE ENOUGH, THE TRAINER WAS OVER THERE WORKING OUT ALL BY HIMSELF TO THIS MUSIC. NOT A CUSTOMER ANYWHERE NEAR HIM AND AFTER 9 AM I FINALLY HAD ENOUGH.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ENFORCEMENT OF ANY OF THE POLICIES THEY SAY ARE PROHIBITED. SUCH AS WIPING DOWN A MACHINE AFTER USE, OR NOT SLAMMING WEIGHTS OR PROPER ATTIRE !!!!! ENFORCEMENT RARELY HAPPENS HERE AND STAFF NEVER SAYS A WORD TO ANYONE ABOUT BEHAVIOR. THEIR CLEANING, WHEN IT HAPPENS IS SUSPECT AT BEST.
SADLY, THE UNDERTONES AT THIS FACILITY ARE NOT SUBTLE AND TO BOOT IT IS FILTHY AND PLANET FITNESS SHOULD BE TRULY ASHAMED .
WHERE IS THE MANAGEMENT? ??? I WOULD CHALK IT UP TO POOR MANAGEMENT AND JUST GO TO THE OTHER 2 NMB LOCATIONS, HOWEVER THE OTHER 2 North Miami Beach locations are about as digusting as well.
I KNOW IT IS NOT NORMAL FOR PLANET FITNESS AS A COMPANY AS I TRAVEL OFTEN AND USE THEM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AND I OFTEN GO TO THE POMPANO AND DEERFIELD AND LAKE WORTH LOCATIONS AND THEY ARE NOT RUN IN THIS MANNER.
SHAME ON YOU PLANET FITNESS AND ESPECIALLY THE MANAGEMENT AT MIAMI GARDENS...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLots of changes I have seen since coming back to this gym and I was honestly hoping for the better but in my observation itās been worst staff is extremely lazy thereās maybe 4 or 5 individuals on one shift yet no paper towels in paper dispensers a lot of standing around and talking and management is just as bad there no leading by example at all the Manager Carlos Iāve witness him sit on top of the counter while on his phone while staff stands around doing nothing and the assistant manager is worst Giovanni stands in front desk eating pizza all day long on his phone while the gym goes unattended Iāve been apart of this gym since it opened and the shift Iāve seen thus far is ridiculous worst when Michelle was manager or worst then dominica these are kids playing house and whatās with this all white and Hispanic staff Iām sure thereās some great qualified people of color thereās literally an all white staff this community took pride and seeing a multicultural staff but now all I see is white or Hispanic which is ok in other communities but this is a mixed community I just think itās ridiculous and if I have to take this up to the food chain I wonāt rest to this is rectified Iām not saying discrimination but trust me the community is observing this this gym is been a pillar in the community and itās a shame to see a club being appointed to kids who donāt know what there doing
Also last Saturday I came to work out the gym was closed for almost 3 hrs with no staff in sight in all my time coming here Iāve never witnessed this Something...

They don't let you cancel over the phone and force you to come in to the actual GYM, which under normal circumstances would be ok but when you're trying to avoid Covid, there should be exceptions and most of the businesses nation wide are doing.
Additionally, when I asked for a refund of the charge which was made after I canceled, suddenly no one has the power to do anything. By the way, dont bother trying to get any help from Managers. Trying to get the Manager Jasmin to speak to you will have to wait until she's done with her meetings and her lunch breaks that seems to miraculously arise every time I call. And don't wait for a call-back, it wont happen. You'll have a better shot at winning the lotto. They will pass the phone around from employee to employee treating it like a game. Being that there's a lot of younger people working there I am not surprised by the immaturity, but the management there should at least act like they give a $**T.
To top it off, then one of the staff which would not reveal his name, told me I'm making a big deal over $41. Well, Planet Fitness, the same can be said about you could it not? Especially after you clearly charged me after I canceled. That's pretty lame considering the financial distress that hard-working people are going...
