The Rustic French Home — Local services in Miami Shores

First let me say this store is completely charming and well-curated. I happened to have met the owner when they first opened. She was warm and down to earth.

The reason for my one star review is that a while back I went to in to buy a specific item that they normally carry, and was informed by the employee that there were supply chain issues post-Covid and that they did not have any at the moment. Instead of the normal chit chat one would expect, the employee used this point to pivot into what can only be described as a totally unsolicited political tirade. It was shocking, completely unhinged, and wildly inappropriate. I actually passed by a couple of times, most recently about 6 months ago, to see if the owner was around, as I wanted to relay this experience to her. Unfortunately she seems not to be around the store anymore, but that employee was still working...

There is really NO negative thing I could possibly say about this store. Everywhere you turn there is a touch of rustic french magic. Everything is so delicate, beautiful, and feels like pure luxury at reasonable prices. To top it off, the owner is extraordinarily kind. She is so helpful and knowledgeable with all of her items. She hand picks everything. I love how she was able to give us a great backstory to almost every time we were interested in. It really showcases her passion and creative ability to perfectly curate every unique piece in her store. Can’t wait...

So happy that I stumbled upon this store today on its opening day. A great selection of lovely items for the home and so many gifting options!
