Cottages El Portal — Hotel in El Portal

It was an excellent stay for about one month, July 2023. The place is very safe, secure, clean, and has excellent landscaping and nearby to all Miami famous locations like the airport, the beaches, the zoo , and all other locations and markets.

In addition, the location is equipped with a washer and dryer easy acceable with a car parking as well.

The house cleaning staff are very friendly, smiles and helpful as well.

The WiFi is excellent as well. We use it full month without any disconnect at all.

Also, the kitchen equipment is excellent, nothing is missing which includes the refrigerator, the microwave, the oven, the roster, the blunder, dishes, plates, cups spones, forkes in a simple way nothing is missing for a kitchen use.

The location is near a lot of supermarkets for daily corsary

Also, the location is excellent for a daily walk with a full of greenery views and trees.

Simpel Noted for improvement are:

wish if the owner will consider futures visitors to re fill the consumable like the tissues for kitches and toilets and sope as well.

The tolite flooring needs to be equipped with a drainage for easy cleaning.

Add more electric plugs near the bed.

Do maintenance to the bulb 💡 and increase light lumens

In conclusion, it was a wonderful experience, and I will repeat if I come to the Miami...

Hello! Decided to write this review so I can help some people. I travelled with a friend to visit Miami for 3 days and we booked the Cottage because it worked well for us, we didn’t have any high expectations but we were very surprised and pleased with most things! The room is cozy and has everything you need, the bed is comfortable and we loved having a little kitchen for us! The bathroom is good, not all new but still good! The service is super fast and easy to understand, the owner sends emails with instructions and they’re super easy to follow! The location is okay, if you’re looking to visit many places, it’s located kinda far, it’s easier if you have a car (which you have a parking space for), but we did most things by bus. Even though it’s super easy to go around town by bus and it’s very convenient having a bus stop in front of the cottage, we’d have loved more if it was better located but it worked well with our type of trip, it wasn’t a big deal after all! The cottage was clean and had all the necessities. It was far away from the beach if that’s what you’re going to be doing. It’s not worth it if you’re coming to spend most of your time on Miami's beachs. However, if you have transportation you’re good to go. There were a few restaurants in walking distance, but not that close. It is in a neighborhood. So it’s not your typical vacation or resort area. it’s close to their art district so the neighborhood wasn’t bad. They do have chairs out front by your door facing a small street and more cottages or houses if you’d like to relax outside to take a break. There is even a back door, but that just leads to a sidewalk taking you past other cottages to another street. Check out time I believe was 11 AM and housekeeping is there exactly at 11 AM. When she arrived she politely informed us of her arrival and quietly waited on the front porch while we finished checking the cottage for anything that may have left behind and get our luggage out to the sidewalk to wait for...
