Take a ride to the border of Miami to the Latin American Market. The staff and other customers there were super friendly. My first time having a Cuban Tamale and I was not let down. An adorable little old lady is sitting at the counter with a pot full of fresh tamales and a variety of other delish Cuban treats. If I could give them MORE stars, I would! This place is above and beyond, yet completely unassuming. The Cuban tamales are the absolute BEST in the continental United States. Period. They're cheap and very filling. The Cuban coffee here is exceptional, and again, the prices are very low. We did not know that they were "cash only", but they demanded that we stay and enjoy our drinks and tamales, then told us just to come back later. The sentimental value this Market holds for me is unmatched. I have visited since I was a kid with my dad and he would come here with his dad as a kid. The same friendly people have been working here for decades and the delicious tamales remain unchanged.

Truthfully, I have never really enjoyed a tamal outside of this market. Their tamales are just so good. Never dry, always flavorful.
