The positive review by Dan Zicom is suspiciously a "plant". Owner's first name is Daniel and his company named Zicom does business as Polywood-Furniture.
We've had 2 warranty problems with Polywood furniture. To be fair, both were eventually resolved, but with great persistence required. Nobody ever answers the operator number, ever. Voice messages left there are never returned, ever. "Customer service" answers about half the time. Voice messages left at customer service are never returned, ever. When you do reach someone, they will promise a response by email end of following business day. That is never achieved, ever.
This business appears to be a back room somewhere with some friendly order takers. When you order, they then order from the manufacturer, and drop shipped delivery may be weeks away. When there is a problem, they order parts from the manufacturer, and replacement parts may be weeks away. Then, because there is no actual business facility, they expect you to dispose of the defective parts. While HPDE can technically be recycled, our garbage company won't take it as recycle. Polywood-furniture highly resists taking the stuff back because they don't appear to have any process to deal with it. I contacted them to ask about the reviews and they stated the customers did not have a realistic view about the time that it took to get furniture. I decided to bite the bullet and buy the furniture from them. I had a great experience. It did take a few weeks to get here but that is what you would expect anyways as this would be the case if you went to Polywood directly. When it arrived everything was in great condition and everything was packaged well. I have purchased many pieces of furniture and have never received a package where something in the furniture wasn’t broken and in this instance absolutely nothing was broken. Also the shipping company that they used was wonderful and was actually on the earlier side of the window they gave me, which rarely happens.    Read moreI would give a lower rating if possible. Purchased two chaise lounges on 5/3/2020. We also ordered cushions for each. We received the chaise lounges but not the cushions, despite being charged for them. We followed up regularly by email (that was the only option because they shut down their customer service phone lines) and was told repeatedly (at least 3 times) that there was a delay because of COVID-19 and our products would ship in 3-4 weeks. It has bow been over 5 months since we ordered AND PAID for products we did not receive. I requested a phone call by the end of the week via email on 10/5/2020 and did not receive a phone call or even an email back. Effectively, this company has stolen money from me and my family and are refusing to take any ownership of the problem. This isn’t that complicated. You either have the product you still sell on your website or you don’t. If you do, send what we ordered AND PAID for or refund us.
