The current manager Yanaissa Adai, is completely unprofessional. I have personally heard many of the neighbors complaining about her attitude and the way she handles things. I unfortunatelly have also experienced ther rudeness, she does not respond emails, does not know how to manage a building, and has absolutely ZERO people skills. If you dare to question why things are not working she will threaten you, scream at you, ignore you, and will not resolve any issues.
If you move here expect to be left without any water (yes, there is a water/pipe problem) at least 4 times per month. Depending on the floor you live in you may even experience having your apartment completely flooded as the building itself is falling apart (Keep in mind it was recently built). Sometimes the water comes out murky and yellow. I’ve reported it to management and I was told this was not their problem.
Things here are ran in a weird way, rules change depending on the mood of management , be careful with your monthly statements, they may add things on they feel we need to pay! Like an insurance for the building itself... not the usual renters insurance to protect your belongings, no... they will try to make you pay for an insurance for the BUILDING!
The elevator has been out of service for months! so the wait can be really long specially if you live on the top floors, inside the apartment everything was madevery cheap, and little by little things keep breaking.
There is no maintenance during the weekends so the hallways, entrance, elevators etc are DISGUSTING all weekend long...
We obvioulsy won’t renew our lease here, and I highly encourage you to keep looking for a different place to live, honestly for the price you will pay here im 100% sure you can find a much better and safer...
Read moreStart with the positive... Moving into First and sixth was one of the smoothest transition, Application and deposit fee was taken care of in one shot and me and my boyfriend was one of the first to live in the apartment it was completely new ! The cleaning lady is super nice and helpful and the man that fixes things around are nice also.At the end of the lease the building had a fruit flies infection and numerous of the tenant’s were complaining this was going on for a month and nothing was done until other’s started complaining. Moving out was so frustrating it was a back and forth with the deposit and super unprofessional. I believe everyone should live here for a year until they write a review. when moving here please ask for a copy of your signed lease when moving in, also make sure you have FULL clarification on what is needed to be done when moving out and making sure you keep your picture’s for proof and proof of how you sent them the deposit ! Always have PROOF emails, text messages anything ! To come to find out that the tiniest “damages” I mean I’m talking about a scrape on the wall or a whole that’s smaller than a penny came out to $650 in repairs. Also they try to charge me $200 for furniture that wasn’t mine. I wouldn’t say you shouldn’t move here just always have PROOF !!!! On top of that I moved out 5/27 and now I'm given all this information now on 7/7 and yes my forwarding address was given within the week of move out !
7/9/2021 Because I cant reply to what you said .... but a copy of my signed lease was never given until now !! so please don't lie because I have every proof and...
Read moreManagement in the building changed 6 months into my lease. The previous team didn't communicate well but there were never any problems. This new team was a nightmare to deal with from the beginning. When I moved in, I had a letter from my healthcare provider saying that my cat was my ESA. When the new mgmt team took over, they tried for a month to make me register my cat as a service animal. They even charged me the pet fee. I had to threaten legal action for them to back off. The fire alarm would go off multiple times over the weekend. There was no staff available during the weekend. My last month there roaches appeared in my apartment. My last week there, the building went without water for over 12 hours. I found out this happened multiple times a month, but I had no idea as I was never home due to my work schedule. Right after I moved out, a pipe burst for the second time, flooding the apartments below. Then there was a notice put on the front doors by the city that the management team failed to file the proper paperwork, and there was a potential lein on the property. I would think twice about moving here. Your money would be better spent...
