Jose Marti Park — Attraction in Miami

Great place to exercise....nice view next to the river.....great amenities....I took one star off because they keep the bathrooms in the middle of the park closed....that's too bad for anyone who is in dire need of using one....and one star off because the benches should be kept cleaner from all of the bird feces....other than that I live the way the Park is being taken care of...the city is doing a great job...It was at José Marti Park that I first saw manatees up close in my life right there in the river next to the Park across from the fushing docks on the opposite side of the Miami River. I play basketball indoors and outdoors. For $100 for the entire year to have access to the gym and the courts indoor, it's a bargain. The gym as far as the bathroom and courts are well kept, very clean. The gym I never use, but it seems to be taken care of too. The courts outside are pretty good for the most part too, and there is plenty of free parking. Being under the expressway and right by the sea provides really neat scenery, and provides shade too. Hello parents! This is the New José Martí Park, on the south river side! The musical area is great for kids, it also has a small area for toddlers. This park is a great way of letting your kid interact with others, it gets very full after 5 pm. But is big enough. The river is in the front so is fresh and with a very nice view, Its a safe environment, well enclosed and the park is fun and safe.
