I had an amazing experience at The Polo Lounge in Carlisle! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a great time. The laid-back atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing evening, whether you're unwinding after a long day or just looking to enjoy some good company. The lounge has a welcoming vibe, and I loved the fact that smoking is permitted, which is a nice touch for those who enjoy it in a social setting.

The real standout of my visit, however, was the service. Sarah, my server, was absolutely fantastic! She was friendly, attentive, and really made the experience memorable. She was knowledgeable about the drink menu and even made some great recommendations, ensuring that my drinks were exactly to my taste. Her excellent service made me feel right at home, and she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed throughout the evening.

I am a truck driver that typically stays at the hotel that hosts this bar about 2-3 nights a month. I'm a low level regular at best. I'm a truck driver and value the fact that this hotel offers truck parking! Over the past few months I have seen a change in the demographic of the bar attendees and the music playing. I'm happily open to anything or anyone and welcome any conversation being a die hard sports lover. Tonight I 100% was run off and in no uncertain terms was notified by fellow attendees that I wasn't exactly welcome in the bar. I was born & raised in Chicago and have unfortunately spent time in Hotel California about 30 years ago - you know when it's time to go... This wasn't a bar tender thing - it was a clear message from fellow bar attendees. This is a factual statement of my experience at Polo Bar tonight. Now that Luke Strader has promised to never return this place is much better off. Besides that this is just another normal bar with a pool table and a jukebox the plus side is the beer is very cold, downside is the chainsmoking gentleman next to me at the bar did find it necessary to light another cigarette even before putting out the one he's puffing on but that's to be expected.
