Well, I definitely need to go ON about this restaurant! I pulled up and immediately noticed that the person restocking the tables was looking out the window at me. I was on the phone with my daughter and said, “oh boy here we go. I hope how I parked isn’t about to be a problem” And then I was inside. I was greeted immediately with “ Welcome to Waffle House!” And that was immediately followed with “ A Lady Trucker! That’s Awesome! You Go Girl!” It ACTUALLY took a full second to register!!! I said “ thanks so much! It’s been a long day! I wasn’t expecting that.” And laughed. He then asked how long I’d been driving. And we bantered back and forth. Asked if I was eating in or to go. My daughter was on the phone and so I decided on to go. Ordered a t bone and a waffle. While my food was prepared INSANELY fast, we talked about the location and how I’d been craving Waffle House all day. I had been parked close to one all the night before, and I couldn’t get to it because the sidewalk was closed. So I HAD to stop in. I noticed and commented how clean it was in there. And how do they clean if they’re open 24 hours. They explained that they get slow in the middle of the night and it’s no big deal at all! This is a very clean and stocked location! When I say the conversation flowed, it was really nice! I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. But also like I was hanging out at a friend’s house! He even asked if I wanted a cup of ice, since I had said I already have an iced tea and didn’t need a drink. To ME that’s EXCELLENT and thoughtful customer service! My food came up, and I had a 3 minutes drive back to work. Parked and set it up and poured my iced tea. Tucked into my waffle first because…well if you know you know! It was perfect! Flavor spot on and EXACTLY the waffle I had been craving! The steak I HAD planned on saving until later. But I wanted to try a bite! I don’t know what happened, but I demolished it rather quickly. It was cooked perfectly, smothered in a ton of onions and mushrooms and absolutely delicious. I can’t say any more nice things about my experience. It was absolute perfection! And I’ll always stop in to this location when I can! MY only regret? I don’t remember their names even though they BOTH introduced themselves! I will try to get them next time. But Waffle House, whoever worked the overnight 08/20/25-08/21/25 at this location…they’re excellent employees who are proud to be there and love their customers! Thank you!!! I’d rate them 10 stars...
Read moreI would frequent this establishment one two three times a month however after this morning's experience I don't think I will be back. Everything was great when I sat down to order. I was the only customer in the building there was two employees. I got my food finished my Waffle finished my bacon pulled my plate over with my eggs and hash browns on it. The waitress then comes over to a sink which is right in front of the first counter seat and precedes spraying water into the sink, well a large splash the water came up Splash me in the face. obviously I'm not too happy about this but it was an accident, however picked up my plate and move to the booth directly behind. I then looked at my plate and I see a drop of water on it which tells me that this water bounced off and unsanitary stink and landed on my plate, Common Sense would say there is more water on it which contaminated my food. I then ask the waitress if she would take this off my bill she asks why?
I respond with you Splash me with water and water got onto my food.
She replies with well you could have said something. I reply with I am saying something!
she responds with you could have said something when it happened.
I said it happened 10 seconds ago, bottom line will you please take this off my bill.
She then proceeded to kick me out she told me that I can leave.
No, I'm sorry no, yes we will take this off your bill no, can we remake this for you. no, they kicked me out..
Then you try calling to speak to a manager and you get a stupid recording that hangs up on you. It does not offer a voicemail or any way to leave a message...
I think I'll go to dennys across the street...
Read moreWe had a great experience at the Washington, PA Waffle House, so we were expecting this one to be great too. It wasn't.
As soon as we got in and seated, the workers were all arguing, yelling, throwing things, and cussing at each other. Despite there being a good 10-12 people seated and eating in the resturant. I had my toddler and baby with me, so we really did not appreciate that behavior or lanuage.
Then, the waiter, some young kid with a HUGE attitude problem. Came up and rudely asked if we were all together or separate checks (we has 7 people sitting in two booths next to each other). Didn't even ask for our drink order, just stared at us until we told him. My husband ordered a glass of milk and hot tea. He comes back with a half glass of milk and said "We ran out." He didn't offer any substitute, and still charged us for a full glass. He came back to get our food order, again, didn't ask, just loomed over us until we told him. I ordered a waffle with chocolate chips and side of hashbrowns. Food came out slow and at different times. My parents and brother got their food a good 10-15 minutes before my husband and I and our toddler. So they had to wait for us to eat before we could leave. I did overhear the chef and waiter speaking about how they forgot the chocolate chips so they chef just tossed some on top before it got to our table. Food was fine. On our way out, we were putting our baby in his car seat and struggling to get his seat belt strapped because he was fussy and fighting us, and behind us we heard the employees laughing and asking, "Need any help?" We just said, "No thanks." And left. Extremely disappointed in this...
