we come here often and lately its just been getting worse and worse thought the first time things went bad it was just a bad day however the workers are getting less and less friendly seems to be bothered by having to help people we waited in line at the café for 10 min before a small girl came out on Saturday and said what can i get you no smile or anything seemed like we interrupted her i was gonna order 2 large cheese pizzas for the 8 kids i had with me and me and my fiancé were gonna order some other food for ourselves right away i started with the pizza and she said hold on and walked away quick with an attitude went and talked to lady in back who seemed to get irritated at the fact we wanted pizza girl came out and said im sorry we shut down the pizza oven cuz we haven't had any orders all day for hit now hence its a Saturday at 9 pm Theydon close till midnight i said so dont you think you should turn it back on you got 3 hours still she said sorry my manager said were done with pizza cuz of no orders hence there was a bday party going on and im pretty sure i saw pizzas but thats nor here nor there now we did spend about 2 hundred dollars prior to ordering food for games at stuff and a few of the machines took our money but didn't let us play we let hat go and decided we were hungry and then to be met with such rude customer service like we were a bother after spending hundreds of dollars and then still gonna spend over 100 in food yet was told no we shut it down 3 hours early makes you really not want to support this business anymore its sad this was a place me and my family loved going and it just seems like current management and employees hate there jobs and dont want to be there hopefully this changes and it becomes a family fun center again instead of a family disappointment center the truth is this place isnt cheap and for what you pay you expect friendlier service i had 2 children with me who have autism so trying to explain to them we had to leave and go somewhere else was not an easy task so needless to say it was a very stressful hour afterwards trying to calm them down. we would have went somewhere else if we knew the food was gonna be shut down so early like i said hopefully next time wont be as bad will probably only give this place one more chance and that's only because of how much my fiancés siblings love it so much maybe they will see this a reach out to rectify but i doubt it if it was my choice id say save your money go to dave and busters or somewhere like that this place has lost all of its...

Known as "The Place to Play" but it's actually an understatement. This place is loaded with versatile options for fun activities, more than just arcades games. I still remember a couple years ago when I first visited CSE for a birthday party, that it was quite dated and offered nothing more than arcade games and go carts. Fast forward a few years, they've now added batting cages, two 18-hole themed mini golf courses, and a new building for hosting private events.  Not sure if they added an additional track but there are 2 outdoor and 1 indoor tracks for the go carts.  They've also updated their arcade with state of art games including 2 VR games; not far behind the new Dave & Buster at the Capital City Mall. Their 2-tier laser tag Lasertron is very current and impressive. There is also a large roller skating rink upstairs.

Not everything is so dandy, however.  The food is limited to quick bites and nothing to write home about. Parking can be daunting when the place is busy. The arcade area is very crammed as they packed more new games than retiring the old.  And the prices are not cheap - a session of laser tag costs $17 per person. If you're not careful, you can sustain significant damage to your wallet after half day of fun.  But they do offer Groupons and sign-up bonuses from time to time.  So do look for them and plan your visits.

They operate longer weekday hours during the summer months. Weekend hours are always 10:00 am to midnight   Here are the hours listed at the door:

Oct - Mar: M-R: 10am - 9pm; Fri-Sat: 10am - Midnight; Sun: 12pm - 9pm

Apr - May, Sept: M-R: 10am - 10pm; Fri-Sat: 10am - Midnight; Sun: 12pm - 10pm

Jun - Aug: M-R: 10am - 11pm; Fri-Sat: 10am - Midnight;...

This is an amazing place to go with a small group of friends, but I would not recommend large parties here.

The staff was very friendly but things were very unorganized for my daughter's birthday party.

We had a party of 10. Included in our party was some food and drinks, laser tag, go karts and a game card per kid. (2 hours)

  1. I wish they gave us the game cards first so that people could play games throughout. They wouldn't let the kids have them until the very end.

  2. I wish they had an intercom speaker to communicate when things were ready. Example: attention party for Anna, food is ready. (And so on) I dont expect kids to stay seated the entire time and I was running around in between each schedule event to gather everyone

  3. no more than 5 kids could do go karts at 1 time which I wish I knew ahead of time. We had to split the group

  4. for some reason they had us start go karts 20 minutes late, I wouldnt have cared, but then we didnt have time for cake which leads to 5....

  5. I felt rushed/kicked out and if things were more organized I dont think I would of felt that way

  6. as shown in the picture below we were setup at this table that was very inconvenient for a large party. You could barely get to the back of the table and we were running into people beside us

Overall my daughter had fun. I'm making this review to warn other parents of this stressful situation and hopefully for Carlisle Sports Emporium to improve their parties for the future. Otherwise I'd recommend maybe 2-4 kids come to together to enjoy a friends birthday not a large party.

P.s. I dont mind spending money for a party, but its was approximately $500 and for the stress it...
