World Market — Local services in Middleton

If I could give you a zero I would! No customer service and complete disregard for their customers. I placed an order for pick up 5 days ago. I needed brackets for shelving that I ordered online through World Market. The brackets were "in stock" at the store on Saturday. I went to the store that afternoon to get them and they told me the brackets were on the truck and it still had to be unloaded. I was told they would "call me" when they were ready to be picked up. I called the store on Sunday, and I was told they said they could work on getting them off the truck. I stopped by the store on Monday and they told me again they still had to be unloaded from the truck. My shelving arrived Wednesday via UPS. It is now Thursday evening, still no phone call. Instead I receive an email telling me the order for my brackets was cancelled. What? I would not have ordered shelving without brackets. I feel as though i have wasted time and will never be a customer at World Market. Everyone should beware, they just don't care about their customers. Is this how World Market...

Selection of culturally appropriate items for this area doesn’t exist. Very limited selection of holiday decorations that are traditionally German, and not of the desired quality. Could not locate any Irish or Norwegian products at all. Asked the cashier and they said they are not aware of any. Not a solid selection of British items either. Or even Eastern European. Looking for authentic products manufactured in the authentic countries. Not pseudo products manufactured in another country. The only product I could really find was very basic mass-produced lebkuchen from Germany. This is high-priced for a tiny package. The selection of products in the store has really gone downhill. Some of these items were never available in the first place, but it turns out to be a wasted...

Craving a candy bar from Europe? Mochi? Udon noodles? World market has a great selection of many of my global favorites. They also have beautiful furniture, lighting fixtures, kitchenware, and decor. Visit during fall/early winter and find an amazing selection of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, decorations and foods (a few items for Hanukkah too). It's a great place for housewarming gifts and gifts in general. They have a great beer and wine selection. I've always found the store employees to be incredibly friendly and helpful.
