Mediocre and expensive. I ordered the Fuji Bowl and the Special fillet mignon, scallop, and lobster. My family ordered some sushi and other hibachi dishes. While I could not speak for their experience but my own, below is my assessment of the dinner. Starting with the Fuji bowl, the representation and aesthetic were lacking. The bowl resemble a mushroom that lost its stem. The straws were ugly and cheap. The drink was not good. I could taste the cheap sugary liquor, instead of whatever they promised to put in. Moving on to the entrée. The waitress brought out the salad to go with the entrée. The salad was not fresh and dressing look watered down. Again, presentation was not there to provoke any kind of appetize. Then, they brough out the actual entrée, and I was speechless. This entrée was $50. There were a bowl of rice, twelve small cubes of "fillet mignon", two shrimps, 4 scallops, and eight small balls of "lobster". First, I did not expect everything to be cut up to bite size. Second, I could have got way more with $20 at Sarku Japan in the West Town Mall. That was mockery of dinner. They gave a lot of rice and little of everything else. And finally the service. I came in and told the host that we will have a party of nine. She was stacking the menus up to take me to my table, then another family of three walk in and she immediately took them to their table and left me there at the entrance. The server, while I was ordering my food, she made a face when I told her I want my fillet mignon extra rare. She commented "so, no cooking" smirking at me. And I had to explain to her that you would sear the steak. The service while was not horrible but rather unprofessional. Overall, the hibachi was not terrible. It tasted about the same as any Japanese stir fried food chain in Madison. My family who ordered sushi and other dishes had nothing good to say about their meals. It is mediocre at the most, especially for its price. I will not come back again.

My boyfriend and I went in for a nice dinner tonight at 6:30pm. The young lady at the front stated it would be a 5 minute wait. We agreed, got our buzzer and waited the 5 minutes. We were then seated at the hibachi table with 3 other couples. As we waited for our waitress, we entertained ourselves by observing the other chefs at the other tables around us. Our waitress comes by to take our orders. My boyfriend and I ordered a mixed drink and a glass of wine, along with our appetizer and meals. She left and came back a few minutes later with everyone's drinks, except for our drinks. We were waiting about 30 minutes for our drinks, but they didn't come . Our appetizer came out first, (the wrong one--might I add--but I couldn't complain to anyone because my waitress wasn't seen again throughout the night) We barely touched it because it was awful...It wasn't until my boyfriend got up to go to the bar himself to see where our drinks were, and our waitress quickly picked them up and brought them to our table. In the meantime, a table behind us got seated and received a chef almost immediately. All customers at our table were aware that this table clearly came in after us and were being served. We have now been waiting AN HOUR. The younger man (possibly a manager?) came by our table and said that the chef would be out in a few more minutes...After he visited our table, he decided to do a few shots with one of the other tables who just sat down. Our chef came out at 745pm (an hour and 15 after we arrived) and began cooking our food. It was completely boring compared to the other tables i watched all evening..I was super disappointed. Our waitress NEVER came back to the table to ask for refills or anything. Everyone's glasses were empty. After 2 whole hours after being in this place, we received our checks...full price. No one of management or staff mentioned a word to any of our table. When all 4 couples complained of our awful service, the man at the front (again, maybe some sort of manager) apologized, and wanted to "check how long we've been here and that they were really busy". Check how long we've been there??? as if we didn't know when we arrived..the only thing you were "so busy" with was sitting and serving the wrong table first. Awful waitstaff and managers were not any better. Offered a $15 gift card for our "next visit"..We won't be back to this restaurant, so you can keep your...

Can't really say anything about the food. After more than an hour we had to give up and go back to the hotel.

After being told it would be a 15 minute wait, we waited outside with a buzzer for 25 minutes. When I asked if they had a rough idea on how much longer the wait would be, I was informed that they must have missed us/not written us down, and that it would be an hour wait unless we wanted to be seated at the habachi.

Upon attempting to place our order, we were informed that we were required to order at least 4 habachi orders, or we would be required to be reseated/wait. We modified and added to our order to accommodate the requirement that we weren't informed about earlier. We also informed the waiter that one of us was allergic to shellfish, so we couldn't have (and were fine with just not having/adjusting) our orders to avoid it. I understand that this is a little inconvenient for the chefs, but they seemed to understand the situation.

After 30 minutes of waiting, and drinks only being filled once, the same waiter seated two other people at our table and took their order. This will become important later.

Going on to the hour mark without any hint of food, either the hibachi or standard orders outside of the kids orders, I decided to let my wife and her friends enjoy dinner as the kids were getting tired. As we were waiting for the boxes, the Hibachi chef finally arrived.

The part earlier being important? The waiter didn't inform either the chef or the second group that one of our guests was allergic to shellfish. At this point, an hour and forty five minutes after requesting a table, we gave up and paid for drinks and kids meals, and left.

Can't recommend at all, though the menu looked good, never actually got any meals besides fries and...
