Bug and Jane - Self Care Sanctuary — Local services in Middletown

Love this place!! I went in looking for some new skin care products, and ended up getting a whole new line. I think I have all of the ColorScience products, except one now 😂. They’re great! The staff was so helpful, they explained the difference between chemical versus physical sunblock, and how it would be healthier for me to switch to a physical sunscreen for my face. I ended up getting three different sunscreen colors in a medium coverage water resistant foundation, plus a blush that also serves as an eyeshadow cream and lip color, and it’s all SPF 50! I love them all, because I can do a very natural look and have full sunscreen coverage, without feeling greasy or looking pasty. I ended up having a dermatology appointment later in the month, and my dermatologist agreed with what the staff at Bug and June had told me. I was happy I chose my products there! I can’t wait to go back...

Bug and Jane is truly a sanctuary! The place is gorgeous and so aesthetically pleasing from the high ceilings to the fresh flowers stretched across the fireplace mantel. Their philosophy is that they only have one client in the space at a time so you are the main focus. It should be noted that they have specific hours for retail shopping open to the public if you need to pop in and grab a product. They carry ISClinical and Colorscience lines which are both incredible. I went there to get The Perfect Dermapeel. My experience was top notch! Denali was my provider and she walked me through every step of the treatment as well as post care directions. Jessica the owner was there at the time as well and she was absolutely lovely! Had an amazing Dermaplane Facial at Bug and Jane with Hannah. The atmosphere is calm, serene and relaxing. You can tell that so much thought and love went into every aspect of the space. Hannah took very good care of me. She listened to me and genuinely cared about my skincare concerns and needs. The facial was the best one I have ever had! The cold globe massage was so relaxing and the hand massage was the nicest touch to an already amazing treatment. Jessica ( the owner) even text me after my treatment ended to ask me how it was and to make sure I enjoyed my experience. There is a lot of truth behind this being a "self care sanctuatry." This is such a great addition to the Middletown Community and everyone should go treat themselves!...
