Abbraccio Gelato — Restaurant in Middletown

November 20, 2024 - Looking for a tasty Gelato fix . . . after lunch or dinner ? Here’s a relatively new Gelato place , called Abbraccio ( Italian for “ HUG”) located on the left front side of Tapia’s Restaurant, in Middletown.

Both eating establishments are owned by Ann Miller , and both are very good too ! ( I’ve reviewed both) Last night we met up with our daughters & their children for dinner. All 3 generations enjoyed our meals, then we walked out one door, into the Gelato shop! Convenient!

Loads of gelato flavors to select:

Peach, Anarena Cherry, Apple Pie A La Mode Mango, White Chocolate Cranberry, Vanilla Bean, Key Lime Pie, Limoncello, Chocolate, Watermelon Kiwi, etc.

What’s the difference between Gelato and Ice Cream ?

Every time I've visited Abbaccio Gelato I've been met with welcoming and warm service. The staff are fantastic in the speed of service, i've never had to wait long.

Plenty of flavours are offered to fit your desires. They do switch flavours in and out so you might not get the same flavour every time.

Dairy free options are provided. Each time I've been, there has been 4 flavours of Sorbetto. The flavours actually taste like the advertised option.

My fiancé and I make the 20 min drive from Buckeystown to enjoy the gelato here and it’s always well worth it! The flavoring is natural and delicious and the service is fantastic.
