My youngest managed to put bar soap all over her hair, making it tangled and hard to comb through. We needed a trim anyway so I brought them here for a haircut, wash and dry. I know my youngest did not get a wash at all as the lady continued to try and comb through the stickiness and tangles, which should not be happening, if her hair was...oh I don't know...washed? I had to stop her and I just put it up in a ponytail. My eldest was left with puffy, dry, frizzy hair and as for me, My hair is curly, and I look like my 9 year old did my hair. $100 down the drain. Just say you don't know how to deal with curly hair next time. And do not lie to me and charge me for a hair wash when you didn't wash anything. I ended up having to come home to wash both their hair myself and now I have to do my own hair. I give it a 2 instead of a 1 because we got decent trims.
In response to the reply: I did! Several times. I told the woman doing my hair, that it was frizzy! And I told the lady doing my daughter's hair, that her hair was not washed. There were just excuses. The one doing my daughter's hair said her hair was still tangled because she had not finished untangling. If she had washed it, the stickiness would have gone away and she could have easily brushed through it. I don't appreciate the lies and being brushed off either. The first time I went, my hair was done beautifully. She was lovely and knew how to handle curly hair. Whoever did my hair this time...

I know it takes a while to do layers in my thin hair, so should have said something when my cut did not take much time. They are nice, though, and i get social anxiety, so i gave a tip, too. Then went home and spent almost 2 hours cutting layers into my own hair. I'm poor, took me 3 years to save up for a haircut. All that saving for a nice shampoo and a straight bottom edge? I guess this haircut game is for rich people. Sometimes i think that people deliberately do a bad job to make me look less pretty. Which is so unfair, because i've been single for a very long time, and i need all the help i can get. Now, once again, i have to go around with my own (not very professional) haircut for the next 3 years until i can build up the trust and cash to allow this sort of...
Read moreI just had my first haircut/wax at Hello Gorgeous with Niki (sp?). I was hesitant, I'll admit, because I had been seeing the same stylist for well over 10 years. I can't say enough about how much I love my cut. She listened to everything I had to say before she started and that's EXACTLY what she did. Her attention to detail and goal to give me what I wanted was evident. I'm sold! ...
