The breakfast was fantastic and inexpensive! I ordered the western skillet with wheat toast and sausage. My wife ordered the ham breakfast burrito and we split a large order of the sausage gravy and biscuits. The western skillet was delicious, well flavored and savory and the toast was good. The breakfast burrito was simple but very good also, according to my wife, and they weren't skimpy with the ham. Now I consider myself a hard judge when it comes to biscuits and gravy. Our family has our own recipe and it's delicious. At the mockingbird cafe they start with a vegan gravy and add sausage in. Normally to me that would be a big red flag because the sausage adds a lot of flavor into normal sausage gravy, but honestly I could've eaten the biscuits and gravy without the sausage. The gravy was well flavored, perfectly peppery and savory without meat. Because of the plant milk there was a little bit of sweetness to the gravy, but the way that it was seasoned it actually made it enhance the flavor rather than detract from it. The biscuits I can't say too much about, they were fluffy and tasty and went well with the gravy. Overall, The food is great, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, and the wall decor is fun to look at while you wait. Which there is a short wait as they make the food fresh for you when you order it, which means you get a good hot meal. The orders are well portioned, you don't leave feeling stuffed or sick. My Husband is absolutely obsessed with Foodeez Fraps!! He makes sure to get himself one every single day and if he doesn't make it before closing, his day just isn't the same. He has taken me on a couple lunch dates here since discovering them and I have not been disappointed yet! He is not only right about how delicious their Fraps are, but also their food!
