I would give no stars if I could. I just had the most dreadful experience. I took my ring in to have a diamond replaced and less than an hour after I picked it up the diamond next to that one fell out. Coincidence? When I came back the owner was rude, condescending and unapoolegetic. He said he recorded my phone call and I accused them of causing the other stone to fall out. He never once displayed any compassion or offer any customer service and said he was not going to fix it for free. I walked out and took my ring to Jewelry Repair Professionals and after they heard how I was treated they not only replaced the stone, they fixed the one that Metrys put in that was loose and not put in properly. I wouldn’t say that I am an experienced shopper at jewelry stores but I’ve use a few of them to purchase different things for my wife over the past few years. This place is the best I’ve ever worked with without a shadow of a doubt. I picked up a couple seashells on our last vacation and I wanted them on a simple silver chain. They were honest, presented numerous options, and let me make a decision based on the value/price they presented. They immediately took care of it and I was in and out of the jewelry store in 10 minutes. It might be the easiest anniversary gift I ever get my wife. These guys are awesome. Let’s be honest, these are some of the rudest people I have met. The big guy does not know how to speak to people the correct way and has a nasty way of showing this. Work was not completed because of their attitude. I will not let someone work on my jewelry that acts like that. Funny over two weeks with my stuff and nothing done but before he hangs up on me he states “I will sand off what I have already done”. He didn’t do any kind of work to my jewelry.
