Hometown Pizza - Middletown — Restaurant in Middletown

My fiance and i decided to go to Hometown Pizza in Middletown for their lunch buffet. We were greated and seated quickly and the lady took our drink order. We went to the buffet that was nearly empty there was no pasta whatsoever and only a half pan of bread sticks and a couple slices of different pizzas i loaded my plate with bread sticks and waited for more pizza to come out. When I finished my plate our waitress came to the table and asked us to repeat our drink order becaise she forgot. So we did and we went to the buffet for anpther plate but it was still fairly empty, still no pasta but they did bring out a peperoni pizza and more breadsticks. We decided it would probably be best to just order a pizza from the menu, so we let our waitress know and after 30 mins of waiting on our order we went to the counter to see if our pizza was ready and they told us the cheese was falling off and they had to make another. We took the pizza how it was and it tasted great but the service was terrible as was the buffet selection. I know i wont be back to...

An old standby for us. Good pizza, good sandwiches, better than average house salad. Just wish they would update the interior. Cover all that wood and walls with some up to date colors. Brighten it up a bit, not so drab. Still great pizza, still needs updating but here is the let down. We have been participants in their awards program for a very long time. Tonight I inquired as to our total points. What a surprise when we were told. 47. Say what? Must be a mistake. Well Hometown, what are you going to do about this? Best pizza this area of town. Cudos for the updated interior. Looks so much better. Clean and bright, good decision. Young lady who waited on us was very good, entertaining. Only negative, I left my leftover pan of baked spaghetti there. My fault, what a waste.

Something has changed besides ownership. My favorite pizza did not look the same nor taste the same, especially the sauce. Toppings were smaller. Barely any green pepper. Looked like grass clippings. Maybe it's all in my head, but my head says it wasn't like I remember. For...

Our server was delightful and attentive. However, They were totally out of spinach for the veggie pizza, so we said just replace the spinach with mushrooms, and then they charged us for extra mushrooms.

My husband ordered milk as his beverage.....they had none.

The thin crust pizza was crispy but had an undesirable texture. Compared to others' thin crust, I would not recommend their thin crust pizza. Other than the crust and missing spinach, the pizza was good.

The lasagna was good but very salty, and extremely acidic and tomatoee. We didn't detect any meat in the lasagna, and the garlic toast looked like it was made with cheap hot dog buns.

I would like to see a beverage that is both diet and non caffinated on the menu. They didn't charge us for the drink, and it was a good thing because the Sprite had an off taste.
