I always cash my a Bank of America check that is from a bank of America branch in Odessa and one time at this location with the African American lady with beautiful curly hair. The girl that stand next to her is rude and her manager is rude also. I guess they saw me and wanted to give me a hard time. I always cash large lump sums of checks and have no problem. I dont understand why this location always give me a problem. When she said she couldn't cash it( a Bank of America check) ,I went to Odessa and they cashed it with no problem without calling another Bank of America branch. I really feel like she judged me for me being a women and figured women don't make that much money in the oil field not knowing I own 50% of a business and get my settlments sent to me. Im a nurse also, but she still judged me. Eventhough I was well groomed handed her two forms of identification. The branch manager was rude and wanted to personally adresse me in the fact she couldn't cash a Bank of America check because they are out on vacation. Wait isn't this Bank of America.?The rude teller thought it was the same check that I presented to her before and cashed with no problem in Odessa. She doesn't know I always get these kind of checks and that amount was a low one. It was another check, that I have been cashing checks at Bank of America in Odessa for years. No worries no problem. This particular teller and branch manager always give me problems. She stated that its policy to call not knowing that I always cash these checks and even cashed it with bank of America in Odessa branch manager gave me no issues. She is caucasian and dont have a judgmental heart. She is always professional. This is a long review because when you are mistreated like I was like I was a criminal you would leave this review also. I pray they want treat anyone else like this. I believe in God as my savior and what you give out you give in. I'm still breathing and I pray for their hearts to be soften instead of being hard and judgemental. I will never go back to that branch again. I rather wait in long lines at Odessa branch that deal with the judgemental ways of the...
Read moreIn my opinion, the young female manager is completely rude and unprofessional. The experience yesterday after making deposits for my company has made me never want to go back to this bank nor ever personally use BoA. As soon as I walked up to the counter she appeared unhappy. I did have a few deposits as it was my first week at a new job. I repeatedly apologized that something was not correct with one of the envelopes and that it was my first time. She looked at me and said “obviously”. As a manager myself, I was shocked. Past that, instead of helping me understand what I did wrong she only made me feel stupid and embarrassed. I stepped away because I began to feel emotional due to the embarrassment and frustration. When I did, she said to my other manager “something must’ve bit her this morning.” No. I was frustrated because I was being spoken to as if I were a child. I do in fact have two bachelor degrees and will be getting my masters, so fortunately very far from a kid. I felt that she was trying to pick an argument with someone who’s last intention or want is a fight with anyone…let alone a bank teller! I am still unsure of what I did wrong regarding the deposits. I could share more but, if you have to bank with BoA I DO NOT recommend going to this location. The location on Wall st. in downtown Midland is fantastic. The women there are always happy to see you and do their jobs without making you feel uncomfortable. Oh, to add to the experience, she and her coworkers were laughing that it would be her last day/week because of me? I am not sure what that means. I do know this manager has somehow got a promotion and is moving to Lubbock soon. It is shocking that BoA would reward someone who treats their customers so poorly. I hope Lubbock teaches her grace and kindness, these two qualities can take you so...
Read moreDo not open an account here. I just opened last week and got direct deposit sent here and was a quick deposit and then I try to Zelle myself money since they don’t know where my debit card is as it’s been “out for delivery” for 4 days now and nooone has any idea. I feel they just pull the people off the streets and ask if you can count money and when they say yes they’re hired! Also good luck getting a hold of the 800 phone support. It takes them 30 minutes to get a person on the phone with someone while the automated system “doesn’t recognize” any numbers you push even though it tells you to push them lol. They should just be called answering machines bc I talked to 13 different people in 4 days and none of them knew how to fix the issue. Luckily I have savings to use for this week bc I went back to chime and love that bank so much. Faster payouts, no overdraft fees, no issues ever and if you have to deal with anyone they have 24/7 support and brains to fix the issues which Bank of America doesn’t. You’ve been warned about not getting access to your money especially if you live paycheck...
