I give Midland a ZERO, but I had to use.1 star to get this started. How sad is it to see a bunch of one star reviews at this Midland location. I shop at Dick's all the time for sports equipment, weights, clothes by Calia which I love and NEVER have I had a problem returning or exchanging items before. This location left me feeling very bitter and will never shop at Dick's again. Last week I bought 4 Calia shirts from there costing about $40 a piece. Over the weekend I was wearing one while doing the laundry and another shirt was in the wash that I wore during the week. Both shirts ended up with snags all over it. I got my money back for the 2 shirts that still had their tags. I have the receipt so I had to request for a manager and she (wish I got her name I would post it) told me that they won't do a return or exchange because she can't resell it. I explained that they are damaged and she wouldn't be able to resell it anyway. I just want something else because I can't wear these. I still got turned down, she compared the return to wearing shoes and returning them which I felt very offended. I don't wear things then return them. This is why Academy will always be Superior to Dick's because of their customer service. Dick's just lived up to it's name today. Really horrible people...
Read moreFirst of all, store hours need to be UPDATED. Google hours state 9AM Monday - Saturday. The doors don’t open until 10 AM as seen on the picture, doors are barely going up at 10 AM when posted hours say 9AM.
Now, after waiting outside an hour, we finally walked in. It was not busy as they had just opened. We made the trip to Dicks, first time ever inside the store. My partner was determined to purchase a bike for my birthday from Dicks. We asked for assistance from a floor associate and his response: The bike associate is not here today. He’ll be back Tuesday.
So if a customer wants to purchase a bike anytime from Saturday thru Monday they can’t? Because someone can’t get the bike from the rack? I didn’t know stores only sold bikes on certain days of the week. & if the associate isn’t present, they don’t sell it? Apparently Dicks does. Also, this is our first time ever to step foot into a Dick’s. So this interaction with the associate was surprising, but nonetheless we were shocked and there was nothing else to do if no one was assisting us, so we left empty handed. Read moreI had an emergency, they stole my son’s putter off the back of his truck the night before a collegiate golf tournament. I called the nearest store which was midland and a clerk by the name of Erick answered the phone. When I asked for the specific putter brand he said I have one in stock. When I asked if he could verify if it was physically there he said he couldn’t because he wasn’t at his station. I told him that I would be traveling over an hour to go get it he again refused to verify if it was in stock or never offered to hold it for me because we really needed it. I took the risk and traveled over 100 miles to go purchase it only to find out they sold it. Which is fine but I would have appreciated the one minute of service it would have taken him to go and verify it was there and held it for me while I drove over there. I have shopped your brand all over the country and this was by far the worst I have ever been given.
