Victorian Square — Local services in Midlothian

My friend and I came in for a quick bite after getting off work. It's about 20 minutes before they have to close. The reason I know for sure was bec it's the first thing we were told by the server, that we have 20 mins to put in an order. I understand, but it's kind of rude to get approach that way. So, we tried the best to order as fast and ate then left. The food was not good at all. My friend order bourbon chicken, and it was bland. I got 2 appetizer, pretzels with cheese dip. It was cold. Big shout out to Kaydie, the ONLY employee in your overnight crew who diligently works continuously to make the customers' experience as pleasant as possible. All other employees sit around doing absolutely nothing except being buried in their phones and ignoring everyone and everything around them, while at the same time taking credit for Kaydie's work. I hope Management recognizes Kaydie's work ethics and diligence and would do well to allow her to train others in her standards which elevated this location from terrible just a month ago to outstanding, all while maintaining a pleasant and friendly attitude. This is a terrible strip mall. It has very few places to shop. Most people either go the the ABC store, the gym,subway,big lots,captain D's,Starbucks, or the popeye's chicken. There is a sushi place,tobacco place,and your town treasures as well as a pizza place. The parking lot is never packed since Martin's grocery store closed. There is a lot of dead empty space here being unused. It is at a very busy intersection of Hull Street Road and Courthouse Road. I wish more stores would open up again in this strip mall.
