Word to the wise: DO NOT LEASE WITH AARON’S MIDWEST CITY!!
4/30/25 - we terminated our lease early and had a brand new set delivered by Lowe’s the next day before Aaron’s could collect their garbage. YES I would rather pay another $1200 to a whole new company than give another penny to Aaron’s. By the way we STILL didn’t have our original washing machine that we bought and leased when they picked up their property - loaner washer #5 I believe, couldn’t even tell you at this point. No amount of management change could ever fix this place (two change of managers at LEAST during the two nightmare years we dealt with them). Never again.
2/28/25 They showed up back up unannounced with a loaner for us that surprise surprise - doesn’t work! Going on week 3 with no working machine. 2/27/25 Updated review as we continued to have issues with this location: Our leased washing machine malfunctioned and flooded our garage (started in its own and never stopped filling, no one was even home) on 2/13, so naturally we called for a service repair. We were told we were scheduled for a pick up the next week Monday or Tuesday (2/17 or 2/18) and that a loaner would be brought to us when they picked up our unit. Winter storms occurred Monday and Tuesday causing an understandable delay, so I called to reschedule our pick-up and loaner replacement for the following week and was told we would be brought a loaner Monday or Tuesday (2/24 or 2/25). After 3pm on Tuesday 2/25 I called again to get an estimate of when they would be at our home with the loaner, only to be told NO ONE had rescheduled us at all. They could “squeeze us in” for a loaner on Thursday 2/27. Now today, 2/27, they have shown up to my house with no replacement loaner, and no intention to pick up my unit for repair. They took a video of what it was doing and left us with nothing. It has been two weeks of run around with us being unable to do our kids laundry without going to a laundromat and paying on top of paying for units we cannot use. Can’t get this lease paid off fast enough to be finished dealing with these people!
Leased a brand new washer/dryer set and was given a faulty dryer right out of the box. Going on two weeks unable to wash my kids clothes at home and having to call every single day, because I am continuously promised “someone will come out tomorrow… someone will call you back in a few minutes….” They have spent a grand total of 3 minutes at my home to say “huh never had that one before” before leaving us with no dryer at all yesterday, just a promise to bring me a used one. This is ridiculous!!! Every time I call it’s “oh no one told me” COMMUNICATION?!?! Ever...
Read moreTrust all my reviews come with patience and kindness. I usually don’t even review if it’s a one star but wow please read if you are a first time buyer wanting to build credit. Or like warranty on your furniture. They don’t not personal report to your credit but can print off a payment history.. I purchased a brand new love seat and L shaped sectional when we received it we saw some boards hanging underneath I didn’t think anything of it but I still called to have it fixed in August 2023 we never got a call back then the holidays came so we forgot I called back in December 2023 sent in picture to manager of the store I confirmed he received my picture on his email and he let me know he would call back after they review them never got a call back. 3.January 2024! I call again they said send pictures I said I have and they said we get SO MANY EMAILS send it to us again, I did I also call the same day to a 1-800 for a customer store complaint the regional manager called the same day and I send him an email to he responded that one is under warranty but the love is paid off but since I have record of my emails they said they can do it. A third party Penski truck picked it up February 12. 3.we wait 24 hours to hear an update the store said they have no idea since it’s a third party fixing our furniture on Feb 21 the same third party came and said please check the couch before I unload and good thing it was not our couch it was in worse condition and had pillows which we kept our so I could have them steam cleaned! I said I refuse and the driver leaves I am now on hold to be contacted by the regional manager again. I just want what I paid for and the service included. I’m 66% paid off on my sectional but I will not be doing business with them again Once I get my couch or any resolution I’m paying off and never...
Read moreAbsolutely do not recommend this location. I have bought an entire house worth of furniture through Aarons at a different location on south side but when I moved I chose this location to buy a new chair as a gift back in January of 2017. I had been making my monthly payments on it until December when I got my Christmas bonus. I called and spoke with a guy named Austin on how much was needed to pay off the account, was quoted an amount of $507ish dollars and some change and authorized the payment with him. Now, nearly 11 months later I find out that a woman named Shameka is harrassing my mother every day and went to my ex boyfriends house trying to find me because of my "past due balance." I called and spoke to her and explained that I paid off the account and she told me Austin did not close my account at that time or place notes in so the account continued to accrue interest, which I now owe, around $260 worth. I repeatedly tried to explain to her that I was told the account was paid off, and that if the payoff balance had been quoted to me at $700+ dollars when I had called I would have paid that amount exactly because my intent was to close the account. I requested to speak to someone higher up and she refused saying she is the only contact, she tried to hang up on me repeatedly (a minimum of 3 times), and insists I must pay the interest that accrued on the account because "she doesn't know what Austin said or did and he doesn't work here anymore." I have since switched over to and will continue to purchase from Conn's in the future. Be aware and write...
