Sometimes they have what I need some of the time they don't. 20% of my grocery list which is common items like produce, breakfast cereal ice cream, ground beef etc. Is not in stock every time I have asked and they said nope sorry we're out of that two weeks ago was the worst when they had a sale on iceberg lettuce all of the lettuce was gone I asked they said sorry we don't have any more probably won't get it in for a couple days. What grocery store doesn't have iceberg lettuce. Then another time I went just recently to go get a rotisserie chicken and they had none usually I would pick one up if the prices were decent like Meyer but the only decent size chicken you can get is Kroger's colossal chicken which is $9 I believe. The parking lot is always jammed people don't pay attention my car's been hit twice in their parking lot last time somebody knocked my tail light out I went there one night late at night trying to avoid the crowd and when I went to check out I was greeted by a very rude response I'm more than happy to leave because they're closing but you don't have to treat me like crap. Uncle Ben's white rice bag of microwavable was gone all winter long I tried to get it for my son and every time I went in there it was gone and it was never reordered I don't know why but it's just what happens if I go back to another Kroger I'll go to the new Supercenter Kroger in Waterford. I don't believe it's the fault of the workers as they all seemed very friendly and helpful but the patrons of this Kroger in Milford are rude and I can't even tell you how many times somebody shove the card into me push my card out of the way taking the last item by pushing their way in front of me it's just too much,...
Read moreI have to tell you something I shouldn't be sharing. Roger is a great guy. We all have to take in to consideration he's at work. Yes we are there to help any and every person. But let's remember we have no idea what's going on in someone's head or someone's life. Also as easy as many people think the job is, it's not easy dealing with hundreds of personalities a day. Trying to serve and remember each customers needs isn't an easy thing to do. If he seems like he's ignoring you, I promise you he isn't. YOU might just wanna speak up and or get his attention. Lots of variables go into factor here. What if, just what if he can not "Hear" you? Lots of dings bings and noises going on. We try to make your day better and as easy and pleasurable as we can. We all deserve thesame respect. You all tolerate my endless conversations and it doesn't come without notice. Lots of amazing people but we all have bad days. Even Kroger Employees. For what it's worth I hope you understand my perspective here. If not no big deal. Have a great day and remember even if someone rubs you the wrong way possibly on his or your bad day, he's just a guy with a job. He shows up because he actually cares. Venting is part of life. Appropriate or not. He has bosses too. Venting is contagious. I'm sure his boss reads this. What if he caught you on your bad...
Read moreI use to be a frequent Kroger shopper for groceries, pharmacy and gas. After years of frustration, I've taken my business elsewhere.
Despite never sharing my account, Kroger continues to combine my account information with other family members. This has happened repeatedly over the years, even after I've spoken with the store front desk, called customer service, and sent emails to resolve it. Every time I think it's fixed, a few months later it happens again.
Worse, this account merging has affected my personalized coupons. I spend significantly more than the other family members my account gets combined with, but somehow they receive the coupons while I get nothing. That sends a clear message: my business isn't valued.
As if that weren't enough, when I used Kroger as my pharmacy, my family members received messages about my prescription. People who are not on my account and have no business receiving private medical information. That felt like a serious privacy violation.
Now I shop and fill my prescription elsewhere. I can confidently say I save more money, I get personalized coupons, and most importantly, I'm treated like a customer who matters.
I will continue encouraging people to shop...
