Security system is flawed. The ring is better. Less expensive equipment. You get more range, better quality, longer video recording at a cheaper price. And you don’t have to wait as long for service. Blue ridge has a tech 1 and tech 2 associate. When you’re done speaking with both associates, you still don’t have a resolution. Then they try to have you spend more money and give you less services by making your range of security smaller. I would not get into a contract with them. I have called the number that has been provided. No one from Blue Ridge Cable has corrected the problem.. I have even offered to work for them for free up to two hours on my day off in order to resolve this issue myself. It is very frustrating. Dealing with blue ridge cable. At least you have polite staff that ignore you. No one has the security system at Blue Ridge. That’s why they don’t understand the issue, and when they finally do, they do not know how to correct it. Update on this review. Today on 10/06/23 I received a call regarding this complaint. I was told I can receive a refund on the equipment I purchased if I sign a document stating all the equipment is working. I refused to sign the document because that would be a lie. So because I refused to sign the document no refund was given. This company is garbage. The sad part is, If the equipment and service was working I would not have a complaint. Read moreCustomer service is horrendous. They are purposely going after people who don't use cable and use streaming services like Netflix. If you have a 4k tv forget about using it. The DATA capped plans are outrageous. Paying 130 a month for the highest plan and still go over the limited caps that are out dated for todays technology. By the time all is said and done just internet service can be over 200 a month. The internet is constantly in and out. We find our selves having to reset the modem once a week and calling them out for service multiple times per year. They wont allow me to switch to a commercial plan because my home is not a business even though I work from home. If they can offer the higher data caps to businesses they should offer them to residential. They need to get with the times. I am so looking forward to the day NCN Data with no caps get to my area. Read moreWould have loved to have there service, even though they meter it. This company has nice customer service reps but it doesn't change the fact that I am not worth their time. I have attempted to get their service twice over the last ten years because I get very terrible service from the company I am with. I called about a month ago and was told I could get service, called again to schedule an appointment ,for new but metered internet, was told they were having troubles setting up an installation date and that a supervisor of some sort would call me a day later. He did, and confirmed that service wasn't available in my area. I asked for a quote to get it brought to my area, as they did for me 10 years ago and haven't heard from them since, its been a month and I haven't heard a thing. Still searching for better...
