The space is very cute and clean and they have a lot of options for nails. However, I made an appointment for 5 people well in advance for my niece’s birthday. They were able to accommodate us but they also had other customers and appointments. Most of us in the group ended up waiting a long time for service and the services seemed very rushed. My sister and I both got powder dip manicures and they were the worst powder manicures both of us ever got. We get these all the time and it seems like this salon doesn’t have the expertise for this type of manicure and shouldn’t be offering them. Both of our nails were way too thick, very uneven and bumpy, and stuck to our skin. I even complained and they redid them and they looked worse. They also cut me twice on the cuticles and once under the nail bed trying to remove the excess. I was hopeful that this salon would have been good due to the ratings but I won’t return. I absolutely love this place! Everyone here is incredibly kind and accommodating, and my nails have never looked better. Flor took the time to truly listen to my needs and achieved results that other salons couldn’t. The Gel-X lasted an impressive 5 weeks—honestly, it could have lasted even longer, but I wanted a refresh for the holidays. There wasn’t a single lift or budge, which is amazing since I’ve never been able to go more than 2 weeks between nail appointments without dealing with lifting or nails popping off. I went in for a manicure and ended up with my nails looking worst then before getting it done, she did not even cut my cuticles. It was my first time and will definitely be my last. I literally don’t ever leave reviews but I am in shock that I asked for a simple manicure and left looking like I put my hands in a blender. The first picture is what EYD Beauty did to me today at 4pm, I then went to Bijou Nails in West Orange at 6pm today to get it redone and look at the difference.
