As always, take these reviews with slight grain of salt as I think there’s only so much you can conclude from one visit! Especially as my palate probably likes heavier flavors. As someone who particularly likes Thai food, especially of my go-to minced chicken pad krapow, I wouldn’t visit this restaurant again. Atmosphere, service, cleanliness, etc are decent but the dish I tried tasted somewhat bland. In brief: if you just wanted a hint of Thai food and needed one in a pinch, this place could do. Otherwise I’d suggest looking elsewhere, like SLA in Montclair, Siam Inn in Cranford, etc.

So so so goood!!! Honestly when I go out to Thai restaurants I usually get a pad Thai but I felt like trying something different I went for the green Thai curry! Honestly hands down one of the best I’ve had. It had a mix of chicken and prawns and it was great the spices the flavour everything just tasted fantastic. The spring rolls in the other hand was quite awful I must say might be the batch I had but definitely wouldn’t be ordering them again.

Delivery- Pad see ew - not genuine Thai. They make a Chinese dish instead ( beef chow fun) Pad Thai - completely no flavor they just add chopped peanuts and a lime wedge on the side. (at least they use the right Noodle type) green curry- not even going to try it at this point. This is just a Chinese take-out restaurant posing as a Thai restaurant.

Apparently this restaurant has a new owner. Since covid, the restaurant only offered take out, they never resumed in person dining following covid. I heard the new owner reopened the dining room. So I tried eating in as the food was always very good.

The eat in experience was horrible, only the front room was open. So the ambiance was that of a waiting room for pick up orders and grub hub guys hanging out, talking on the phone, etc. We did not have a dedicated server, our server was cashier, food runner, bus person, etc. Hard to get water refilled, entrees served with appetizer dishes still in front of us, then still not removed once entrees were served.

The food was not as good as the past, mostly vegetables, small portions of chicken and shrimp in the pad thai, and curry, and just not flavorful. They also added sushi to the "Thai", menu... didn't seem fresh, we did try a roll with our apps, flavorless tuna, and salmon was washed out and had no fresh shine to it.. Most restaurants that try to do everything fail, this is a good example of that... is it a Thai food restaurant, or a Japanese sushi place???

All in all, a disappointment on all levels... if your going to try, do not eat in... as it will ruin the entire experience. I will...

The absolute best General Tso's Chicken I have ever had, anywhere. It is large, juicy chunks of white meat and the sauce has an amazing spicey flavor not at all like some places where it's just too tomato/ketchup based! Plus comes with a few fresh pieces of broccoli. Their lunch special is a fantastic buy...you get rice and a great Thai soup as well. I order at least once a week from them! EDITED 8/1/17 (over a year since above review) - sadly, they have completely changed their General Tso's Chicken - no longer are they large chunks of white meat, but now small over-fried little pieces that you don't even really see the chicken when you bite into it. While it is still tasty, as are other things on the menu like the Squid Salad, my second favorite, this restaurant has changed their cooking on my truly favorite meal and now I must get...

Thai House is AMAZING and such a hidden gem inNJ!! I'm a bit of a Thai Curry connoisseur and have tried different curries from dozens and dozens of places and this has continued to be my #1 favorite over years.

The vegetables are always fresh, the curries and food are consistently DELISH, the portions are the perfect size, and their brown rice is the best l've ever had -- not the typical flavorless brown long-grain rice, it's dark brown, hearty, and yummy. My favorite dish is their Thai red curry with tofu, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

My mom Sonia and our family are huge fans and always stop by when we're around. Kevin, the owner, is so friendly and always makes time to greet us and those who pick up food.

We will forever and always be back. Highly recommend...
