My cousins who live in SLC recommended this hike. It was a very short hike but really lovely. A bit difficult in several parts and turns due to snow and we didn't have chains under our shoes so we were sliding a bit but we enjoyed the hike thoroughly. The paths are very narrow so one has to be a little careful but we saw lot of people with their dogs with no problem. The views are simply incredible and breathtaking. This was our first hike with snow ever so it will be something to remember for a long time. Highly recommend for those who want to take a nice easy hike under 3 hours.

I have been hiking this canyon everyday off for 8 years. And this year the forest service decided to cut down half the forest up mill creek. They cut down every piece of shade and perfect trees just to make views for people. Every piece of lush vegetation around the canals gone. Screw biodiversiteit, just cut it all down. Whoever ordered this cutting needs prison time. This is a crime against nature.

Beautiful, scenic, and a short drive from many of the main city areas gets pretty busy on weekends. So you wanna go really early or really late or if you have time to spare go during the week, when many people won't be heading up the canyons and enjoy the beautiful, Scenic value. That is the natural beauty of Mill Creek Canyon.
