I would love to give more than 1 star because I have been mostly content with the actual food and coffee Iāve ordered, however the amount of time that it takes for a to go drive through order is borderline comical as historically a sandwich ordered through the drive through takes typically 45 mins. The issue that has really become frustrating about the extended wait times is there is NO WHERE to safely park in order to hopefully receive your order. They have you order in the drive through and ask you to pull forward with no spaces allotted for waiting and in the event you had to wait in the other parking lot, Iāve had times where I never got my order. My vehicle has been hit in this parking lot because of the above scenario in which I made the decision to never go here again because of the amount of stress as well as the amount of money I have spent just from waiting for a sandwich in which I was expecting to be at most a 20 min wait. I used to go here regularly but after my last few experiences here I will not return. Unfortunately my mother loves your coffee and asks to go here every time she is in town but I will likely inform her she can drive herself there if she wants to risk her well being for a cup of joe. I wish things were different or that there was some sort of resolution in the works for the issue but unfortunately itās been the case for over a year and appears the wait times have increased and while Iām happy to see the business doing well, maybe allot some parking spots for your customers who arenāt dining in or remove the drive through option as itās problematic and realistically Iāve never had any order out in 10 mins or less which in my opinion is a reasonable waiting time. Unless there is some change with the parking / waiting for orders I plan to never return here due to the stress and finances accumulated from simply trying to pick up good food before a quick hike which turned into an ongoing stressor in my life and quite frankly I simply donāt think any food is worth getting into an collision and the repercussions that come with it.
Another suggestion might be answering your telephone to allow customers to place orders to pick up or perhaps allowing online orders with an accurate pick up time TO AVOID WAITING AN HOUR AND GETTING HIT BY ANOTHER CUSTOMER. Attached is a photo of my most recent purchase my sister took the initiative to pick up as Iāve informed everyone I will never drive my car to that place and my sister waited for over an hour for a burnt sandwich. I wish there was some sort of plan of action for this because Utah does lack good and nutritious food and I do enjoy your food most of the time but I would NEVER suggest anyone to come here based on my experiences and having not a depreciated vehicle thanks to my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDisappointed with how food allergies are now handled ā longtime customer let down Iāve been a loyal customer for awhile now, but my recent experience was incredibly disappointing and honestly upsetting. Due to my food allergies, I have called ahead to confirm they could substitute pancake and batter for the waffle in the chicken & waffles dish and been in person, each time they were okay with this, it is why I come to their restaurant as it is really yummy. With placing the order again the other day they assured me they could. Since they now require orders to be placed in person, my grandmother went for me this time but we make a 40min round trip drive for placing an order, we even confirmed everything with them, and even put me on the phone to double-check. Unfortunately, when I got home, the waffle was made with the original batterāwhich contains several ingredients Iām anaphylactic to. Thankfully, I caught it before eating. But since they closed right after, we couldnāt go back, and I was without dinner as I couldn't eat the meal. We returned the next day expecting a simple fix or refundāsomething theyāve done in the past without issue. Instead, the manager (Bella) refused to remake the meal or issue a refund, and informed me they no longer accommodate food allergies. She also told me not to order that dish again. I tried ordering something else (a hot honey sandwich) and the pancakes to recreate the chicken and waffles to replace the previous order but it had strawberriesāanother allergy I had specifically mentioned with having the fruit on the side. Yet again, the meal was incorrect and unsafe. My grandmother was charged for it, and still no refund was given for the previous order. What used to be a place that treated allergy concerns with care and respect has clearly changed. Thereās no way to leave a voicemail because the inbox is full, and calls usually go to the bakery instead of the restaurant. This situation was frustrating, stressful, and frankly disappointingāespecially as someone with dietary restrictions who has to rely on clear communication and follow-through.
Itās heartbreaking to be told that because of something I canāt controlāmy food allergiesāI just canāt eat here anymore. Iāve never had this kind of experience here until recently, and I hope management reconsiders how they handle allergy accommodations moving forward, as Iāve had such kind and understanding experiences prior even when there was a mistake or two, the food has always been really yummy and the staff prior was always nice. I did not feel that this time talking with their manager Bella. We also only wanted the fruit that came with the meal not an extra side of it just it out on the side no strawberries...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy sister introduced me to Beaumont Bakery and Cafe when she ordered lunch for my birthday and took it up the canyon for a picnic.
The salads were absolutely delicious and so were the deserts.
I love arugula, roasted beets, citrus, pistachios, and onion, so the Orange & Beet Salad stood out as a logical choice and it did not disappoint.
Currently priced at $13.5, this vibrant and refreshing salad tantalizes the taste buds with a symphony of flavors that play well with each other.
Visually, it is a colorful medley of arugula, roasted beets, fresh oranges, red onion, and goat cheese creates a visually stunning plate. The crushed pistachios adds a delightful crunch, elevating the overall texture of the dish.
The fresh orange vinaigrette ties everything together. The dressing is a perfect balance of tangy and sweet, providing a zesty kick that enhances the natural sweetness of the oranges and beets. It's not overpowering, allowing the individual ingredients to shine through while complementing each other harmoniously.
The roasted beets add a earthy undertone, and the goat cheese provides a creamy richness that contrasts beautifully with the crispness of the arugula. The red onion adds a subtle kick, and the crushed pistachios contribute a nutty essence that rounds out the flavor profile.
I have returned here several times and keep going back to that dish. One of these days I may order something else. But not likely because after writing this I am craving another round.
The first time we went to the drive through and I didn't have any complaints about the service. However, the last time I was there I was there for at least 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there, even though multiple employees passed me. A simple, "Hello. Sorry we are a little busy but we will be with you as soon as possible." would have gone a long way. Instead it was as if I was invisible and I did not feel welcomed at all.
For dessert I selected the Key Lime pie. All their deserts were so visually appealing so it was difficult to decide. But it did not disappoint. It...
