I have started coming here to play tennis and I must say this is a great tennis court! For one it has two backboards which I really appreciate a lot. When you don't have anyone to play with a backboard is a must! Plus I am very new to the sport so I really need a backboard to practice with. That and its great exercise too. I do wish all of the courts had backboards but only two of them do. I really don't know why more of them don't have them? They are a very handy thing for single players. And the other nearby tennis court at mckinley doesn't even HAVE any backboards at all! So I have talked to a few different people since I started coming here and everyone seems very friendly. That is a big plus in my book. And the courts seem well cared for too. I saw a man go through and he was raising the nets to the proper height. I am finding that tennis is lots of fun. And I must admit that does surprise me. I never really played any sports before but I do find hitting the ball with the racket very challenging. And its great exercise too. My shoulder seems to be getting stronger and my HRV is going up since I started playing. Those are all positive things. Hitting the ball against the backboard is a healthy activity to get my heart rate up and to improve my health. Best of all these courts are nearby and free too. And afterwards I can walk to the lake and enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Michigan.

Great playground for smaller kids. The tennis courts are decent with a backstop to hit against. Anytime we wanted to use a court there was an open one except once. The trails around the park are paved and pretty nice. There are two bridges that are out of...

My kids are black and the white parents were snatching their kids away from my kids and told them not to play with my kids. Not every parent was this way but 70% of the parents at the park. This is why Milwaukee is so...
