It reaffirmed Minden’s distinction as the “Friendliest City of the South” as designated by Travel & Leisure magazine.
We started the afternoon at Brick Street Coffee, a favorite. Caramel Macchiatos provided an afternoon of energy for the Festival. Real mead (very good, honey-enhanced) came later.
Inside at the Festival, a potter, Scottish dancers, and a harpist entertained. The outside stage in a beautiful sloping downtown park featured Scottish-themed music, like a talented mandolin and guitar group from Monroe.
