The chicken salad was very fresh and tasty. The store is incredibly clean and I felt really welcomed by the owner and her employees during my visit. I was able to customize my order and didn't feel rushed even though I was there only thirty minutes prior to their closing time. Not wanting to keep them after, however, I packed up a bit too fast and accidentally left a charger plugged into their wall as I was leaving. I didn't realize it until I was almost to Shreveport and I was ultimately on my way back home - all the way in Dallas, TX. I was upset with myself for leaving it, but basically had to write it off as a probable loss. Well, the next day, the owner's husband called me, offering to send my charger through the mail! I felt silly for not thinking of this, but even more, I was so pleasantly surprised by these people's willingness to go way above and beyond for a one-time customer just passing through. He even offered to pay my shipping and let me pay the amount when he knew what that would be. How wonderfully refreshing these rare interactions are in which people go out of their way to do something nice and even go out on a limb of trust for a stranger. Whenever I'm passing through again, you can bet I'll be making a stop at Geaux Fresh along the way! Thank you guys so much! D. H....

I've lived in Minden for almost 4 years now and somehow have never made it to Geaux Fresh until today.

It's a beautiful place inside. I placed a to go order and the staff was super duper friendly.

I ordered a Caesar salad for my daughter and the Fruity Ninja for myself. My daughter loves their Caesar salads. The Fruity Ninja is fruity chicken salad on top of spring mix and avocado. Fuity chicken salad is my favorite kind but this one was lacking a bit in the flavor department. I would probably have enjoyed it better with some type of dressing on the salad. I've been fighting the crud so my taste buds might not have been up to par.

I was very tempted by the desserts but will save that for another day. They looked amazing.

This place is SO GOOD! So fresh! So delicious! So healthy (if you need it to be)! Jodie and her team are authentic, sincere, talented, and fun! You can literally Order anything and it will be delicious. I would post pics of the food but I always inhale it as soon as I get it. Everything is made from scratch. AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THE DESSERTS! Just order the Butterfinger pie and be done with it! 🤤🤤🤤 (or the burger bowl or the lemon pie or the CLOUD NINE COOKIE or the spicy NOLA wrap ….)
