I went here after having a bad experience 2 years ago. I am glad I decided to go back. It is rare to find a nail tech that understands that women don't want masculine nails. So I went here two weeks ago and I wasn't fully satisfied on my pedicure or dip set. My set was too bulky and in the middle of service, the person that started my set switched out. The lady that took over told me that my nails were bulky because of the shape of my hands. Total bs. I was so annoyed. My pedicure was okay. I decided to give them one more chance and the guy that did my pedicure also did my dip set. It was awesome. My nails fit me so perfectly. I am a licensed Cosmetologist Instructor and I must say, he knows how to make the hand look feminine. This is not a skill that all nail techs have. I will definitely be asking for him only when visiting this location. The best part was him being fast as well. I also noticed that even if you leave a tip on the card, they give their techs their tips. This is also rare. Treat your techs right so that they will stay. Nothing worst than working all day and being inconvenienced. I also love that when the service was over and I asked how much my services were, they didn't try to overcharge me or switch prices. You would be surprised how many salons do this, hoping that no one asks. I will be going back. It's better than...
Read moreDefinitely won’t be back. I went for dip nails and emerged 2 hours later. I’ve had my nails dipped regularly at other salons over the last 3 years so I’m pretty familiar with what to expect. To remove the dip already on my nails, my technician poured a bowl of acetone and had me soak my nails off for an HOUR. AN HOUR. Traditionally, at every other nail salon I’ve ever been to, my nails are wrapped in cotton and foil and the soak off takes about 20 minutes, at the most. I found this odd and uncomfortable, as my nails became very sticky and kept sticking to the plastic lining the bowl. Definitely a gross feeling and it never ever takes an hour for a powder soak off. Nobody checked on me during this time, I finally took it upon myself to start removing the melted off powder when I realized nobody else was going to. I was also asked to move chairs/stations 4 times by various technicians during my service. I was already annoyed the soak off was taking so long and now I was being moved around the salon time and time again. In the end, my nails came out looking good and I am happy with the color I chose, but I won’t be back due to how long it took, the lack of customer service, and from being bounced around the salon. I came for a relaxing nail service and did not...
Read moreI went to VIP to get eyebrows tinted. Tiffany was very rude. The bed didn't have a pillow. She kept telling me to lie down. Told her it was hurting my back. Did not wax around eyebrows. Only above my lip and it was very painful. She was very rough. In a bad mood. My friend Tina went there couple of days ago to get nails trimmed and get clear coat. She was told by Tiffany to pay extra $20 for Tina's son that was in there for pedicure two weeks prior. Tiffany said there was a misunderstanding and Tina owed for her son's services. Tina was shocked and didn't have the cash for extra $20, so Tiffany told her to put on credit card. Tina will not return to VIP. I will not go back either. I don't think it is even legal to charge someone for someone else's services that happened two weeks prior especially when Tina had no idea what had transpired or what the money was for. No way to...
