I am not the kind of person to write a review, but this time I will make an exception for the awful experience I had with Nicollet Island Pavilion. Being newly engaged, I was eager to get the ball rolling and book a venue for our wedding. I reached out to the Nicollet Island Pavilion in which they replied immediately and we began the process. Multiple phone calls, a virtual tour, as I live out of state, and a follow up email with everything spelled out for me to review with my Fiancé. I was even told that the date I selected was "Open" and put on a "Soft hold" for me. I was also told that "if this date becomes of interest to any other parties WE will let you know so that you can make a decision to move forward or not." This was on 8/6/2024 that I received the proposal. On 8/8/2024 I reached back out letting them know, me and my fiancé would like to move forward with the process. On 8/9/2024 I received an email back with "Yay, we are happy to work with you... etc." On 8/12 I receive an email from the "day of coordinator" and woman that took me on the Virtual tour, stated that "Unfortunately the date you want is now taken and unavailable. We can offer you another date." In pure disbelief as we just spoke FRIDAY, How could this happen? How could this happen if I was on a "soft hold?" How could this happen if NOT ONE PERSON called me to tell me you need to make a decision as another party is interested in your date. I received NOTHING! As a bride planning a wedding this is a pure nightmare. I received a follow up call from another person that I would assume is management to apologize for the "Miscommunication". There was NO miscommunication on my end, as I have it all in writing. Nothing was done to rectify the situation but a "Sorry". I will never again work or recommend, this venue to ANYONE. And a lot of my friends will be getting married this upcoming year, who have inquired about this venue. This is by far the worst experience ever. I wish I would have read more reviews prior to stating my interest, because many others have also experienced this, along with bad food and rude staff. I write this not to bash a venue but in hopes this NEVER happens to...

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place and experience to celebrate our wedding day than Nicollet Island Pavilion. Nicollet was the first place we toured after getting engaged as it was at the top of our list for places and from the moment we toured the venue and met Morgan, we both knew it was exactly where we wanted to get married. Morgan helped make our wedding planning experience a dream. She was so helpful and quick to respond any time we had a question, never made us feel like an inconvenience and always made me feel like she was just as invested in our day as we were which is such a nice feeling when planning such an important day. She was always so accommodating when it came to planning meetings or meeting with us when my mom who lives out of town was here so that she could be involved. I could truly not say enough great things about our entire planning process with Morgan and Mintahoe.

Everything the day of went beyond smoothly and the entire staff was so kind and helpful. We have received so many compliments and kind words from our guests. From how beautiful the entire venue was, the views, and how they were blown away by the food. Some guests even told us it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had which was so important to us!

I truly can't say enough great things about Nicollet Island Pavilion, Mintahoe and especially Morgan for making our wedding day a...

From the moment my (now) husband and I virtually toured Nicollet Island Pavilion, we knew we had found the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. We are city dwellers but love the outdoors and NIP was the perfect backdrop that brought both of those worlds together. The well-maintained outdoor space provided a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and cocktail hour while the industrial vibe of the venue building provided some urban romance for the evening reception.

The attention to detail displayed by the venue's staff was exceptional. Morgan, our event coordinator, was not only professional but also genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Coordinating an event with a very Type A bride (I’m the problem, it’s me) and parents, who sometimes had differing preferences, is not easy, but Morgan navigated all our questions and changing plans with ease. She worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of our celebration was executed flawlessly, leaving us stress-free and able to savor every precious moment on the big day.

The combination of breathtaking surroundings, impeccable service, and a dedicated team made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We are immensely grateful to Nicollet Island Pavilion for providing the perfect backdrop for...

We held our annual Employee Christmas Party at Nicollet Island Pavillion for the 2nd year in a row after always staying in-house in previous years. Partnering with our NIP rep Gabby Panebianco, we created a magic atmosphere and a memorable event that wowed our staff. The venue is breathtaking and as employees approached our registration table we heard comments such as, "I can't believe they're doing this for us" and "this is unbelievable and to include all of us is so special I can't thank you enough". Gabby attends to every detail including a wonderful Homestyle lunch menu, seasonal deserts, festive spaces inside the venue for visiting, photos, eating and even a program for our employees. Venturing outside employees were able to sit around a cozy fire pit and view the scenic landscape of the flowing river and the city skyline behind it. Gabby was alongside me from planning through clean-up and doesn't miss a thing. With 335 employees able to attend we left work behind and celebrated our team in a way that was special for all of them! Thank you Gabby and Mintahoe for making seasons bright!
